equine_attack will be packed with information about horses and everything to do with them. We are pretty easy going people , so if you break the rules once or twice we'll let you get away with a warning, but do be respectful. We're human, too. ;]
Some simple rules...
- As this is a horse community , lets keep the topics about horses, riding, and people to do with horses.
- Write a intro post! We want to know who you are!
- We do encourage you to make your posts friends-only. Not everyone who stumbles upon here is a nice person, unfortunately, and we can't do anything about that.
- NO DRAMA. arg, we all hate it. Just don't start it. If someone is bothering you, let one of the maintainers know, and we'll tackle it.
- We love disscussions and highly encourage them. There are many controversial topics out there, and we do not mind if you talk about them, but just because you belive in something dosen't mean another person has to. Everyone has their own opinions- don't "bitch" them out for it!
- Who doesn't love pictures? Feel free to post as many as you want! If your going to post more than one LJ- CUT it. If you don't know how, ask us, and someone will be happy to tell you.
- When posting pictures if there is nudity, blood, or anything else you think people should know about give a warning and LJ - CUT it.
If you don't know how to do this, ask! We don't bite, really.
- Selling tack? Go ahead and advertise. Have a horse up for sale? Tell us about him/her!
- If someone has a question, regardless of how "stupid" you may think it is, be nice and answer!
What do you do when someone asks 'What is a hackamore?'
a. Laugh in their face
b. Tell them to google it and stop wasting everyone's "precious" time
c. Tell them they're stupid and shouldn't even be around a horse because they'll certainly kill it, because apparently they're too
stupid to know what a hackamore is..
d. Tell them what the damn hackamore is, AND how to use it.
If you've answered anything but D, YOU FAIL!
That is all for now, my friends. After this community starts up a little, we'll start adding weekly polls, surveys, and whatever else we can come up with to keep it interesting!
