I've decided to return to EQ2 after not playing for about 2 years and I wanted to return to the Blackburrow server. Only problem being I live in the UK and it no longer seems to be giving me the option of playing on a US server. All the people I know that play play on Blackburrow so I wouldn't really want to start playing on one of the EU servers, so is there any way for me to opt in to playing on a US server?

So ... a week and some until TSO. The changes in this upcoming expansion outnumber most of the previous. And while the majority of the changes deal with Epic mobs and raiding, there's still some minor changes elsewhere.

Raid Mobs with crits, changing out all gear for "Crit Mitigation" will suck, no doubt. Will Vp gear be revamped? No word yet, but not a no.
Conj get a new mage pet (finally thank god)
Sk/Pally revamps turn them into monsters
New Necro/Conj  AA trees have a pretty large impact on pets
Shard gear has its prices tripled, making the "average" player take until next expansion to get a complete tier 2 set of gear.

Thoughts?

Hi. I haven't played this game for a while and now I want to get back. I used to play on Runneye, UK. But now I am thinking about trying US PvE or RP server instead. Any suggestions? Maybe there are good site about servers or some good server-specified communties?

I stopped playing EQ2 because of how disappointed I was in Kunark. I told all my friends that I would come back though if the next expansion looks good.

However, The Shadow Odyssey has completed failed to gain my interest.
