| About: | About This is a community for writers. The objective here is for us to post writings and to critique each other. This is also a place to talk about books and styles and anything generally literature related. You can post anything you like (poetry, prose, short stories, excerpts, writing exercises, even fan fiction). Basic rules are, keep anything over 300 words under an lj-cut, and keep criticism constructive. The point is to help other writers grow, not to scare them out of ever writing again, so if you have something negative to say, be gentle. Since the journal isn't friends only, it's up to you, the poster to decide whether or not you want your entries visible to non-members. Joining Before you'll be able to join, we'd like to see a sample of your writing. Don't think of this as an audition. It's more like an application.
