Thought on Reed I am watching the cycle of reruns on SciFi, and I just thought of something tonight while reading multiple wikis and LJ: Reed said he was an Eagle Scout like Archer, but aren't the Eagle Scouts a part of Boy Scouts of America? How did the British Reed participate in an American Scouting program (and garner 2 more badges than the Cap'n)? p.s. I'm a newbie to this comm, so hello everyone! *waves* Current Mood: contemplative |

This may sound stupid, but I just got into Enterprise, so forgive any stupidity. A few websites list an episode called "Debugging Entry," but it doesn't seem to be on IMDb. Was this an episode that was never filmed? |

Still Miss it. Been watching my video tapes for the past couple weeks. Fortunately, I recorded every episode. Definitely, my favorite Star Trek series. |

Captain Archer reminded me of.... .... George W. Bush. Does anyone else see this and understand why he'd bring to mind the president of the United States of America? |

Michael Piller is dead -- Michael Piller, "Star Trek" veteran and co-creator/executive producer of USA Network's hit series "The Dead Zone," died early Tuesday at his Los Angeles home after a long battle with cancer. He was 57. Before co-creating "The Dead Zone" with his son Shawn, Piller was head writer on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," leading the show to a best drama Emmy nomination in 1994, the first for a syndicated series. He went on to co-create the following two "Trek" installments, "Deep Space Nine" and "Voyager." Both series ran for seven seasons. In 1998, Piller wrote and co-produced "Star Trek: Insurrection," the ninth installment in Paramount Pictures' successful Star Trek feature franchise. Current Mood: shocked |

Brock Peters 1927-2005 08.23.2005 Brock Peters Reports are coming in today that Brock Peters ("Joseph Sisko" & "Admiral Cartwright") has passed away from pancreatic cancer. He was 78. Peters gained fame as Tom Robinson, the man accused of rape in the classic 1962 film "To Kill a Mockingbird." His other early films include "The L-Shaped Room," "Carmen Jones" and "Porgy and Bess." Star Trek fans will remember Peters for two roles; as Admiral Cartwright in "Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home" and "Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country" and as Joseph Sisko, Benjamin Sisko's New Orleans-based father who ran his own creole restaurant. http://www.startrek.com/startrek/view/news/article/13354.htmlRest in peace... Okay this is killing me,
They didn't cancel Enterprise because of bad ratings. In fact, Enterprise was getting good ratings. One of the best on the Friday night line up. The canceled Enterprise because they could get better ratings from a new show.
Does that not just piss you off? They are abusing the fandom. How many half-lived series will they do threw in this get-rich-quick scheme that they have going? Something has to be done to show that such a move isn't going to work. They can't just give Star Trek fans something to watch, fall in love with, then rip away when only the die-hards are left.

James Montgomery Doohan, 1920-2005 "'It's green!'" "'Any man who could manage such a feat, I darena' disappoint.'" "Everything's been just lovely." It's fitting somehow that he died on the anniversary of the greatest engineering achievement in human history, a space engineering achievement at that, the landing of Apollo 11 on the Moon. Godspeed, Scotty. We love you. Current Mood: crying |
