engaged2marry, a community for engaged couples to talk about their relationships, discuss wedding plans, offer advice and support, and share their dreams. This is a unique time, you're not "just a couple" and not yet married. Having already decided who you want to spend the rest of your life with, you are then faced with embracing their family (soon part of your own!) adjusting to life as a soon-to-be-married person, discussing parenting issues or the possibility of a family of your own someday, and all the issues specific to couples about to take that plunge into married life.
If you are already married, congrats! Unfortunately, since this community is only for engaged couples, we regret that you won't be able to join. But, once you have joined as an engaged person and you have your wedding, you may remain a member as long as you wish.
We hope you will find helpful tips, stress relief, and a warm, safe place to share your dreams. You're crazy in love and you want to share it, talk about your relationship, wedding plans, in-laws-to-be, and just about everything and anything we engaged couples deal with. There are just a few rules we ask that you respect while here:
1. Once approved, all new members please fill out the introduction survey upon joining the community.
2. Anything that does not pertain to relationships, wedding plans or engaged life should be placed behind an LJ cut. This keeps the community purpose in focus, while also allowing you to discuss off-topic matters.
3. Pictures should be put behind a cut. Instructions for using an LJ-cut can be found here.
4. There will be NO harassing of the moderators or other members, whether in replies, posts, or their personal journals. If you are found in violation of this rule, you will be banned immediately without warning. In addition, there will be NO bashing of other members. If you do not agree with something someone has said, maturely state your opinion or ignore the post. Be respectful of other members.
5. You may post wedding related items you have for sale, but please put them behind a cut.
6. You must be engaged, (not already married,) to join. Once you are a member and have had your wedding, you may remain a member as long as you wish.
