please don't kill me! i promise everyone that this post will self-destruct on saturday, at the latest!
my yearbook grad statement is due on friday, and i have no idea of what to write. i was looking for a witty quote. i want it to be original (nothing like, "shoot for the moon! even if you miss, you'll still land above the stars!" corniness) and i want it to be interesting.
right now, i'm a fan of a few things:
- "I think too much, I know too little." - my friend
- "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center." - vonnegut
- "I'm seventeen and I'm crazy. My uncle says the two always go together. When people ask your age, he said, always say seventeen and insane." - ray bradbury
- “I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next.” - gilda radner
- "Here I am Rock You Like a Hurricane." - dave eggers
