| About: | About: This community was made by Harry Potter fans for Harry Potter fans. Four friends came together with the idea, all of which love Harry Potter, writing fanfiction, and reading others'. What We Do: Each week, a new challenge will be posted for either a ficlet or a one-shot, and will specify a subject and word count. The subjects will be chosen by the four makers taking turns each week. Disclaimer: None of us own or claim any aspect of Harry Potter. We are simply fans and manipulate the characters for our own amusement. Note: I posted the disclaimer here so the members would not need to kill themselves with worry over making sure they have one. Mini-Dictionary: +Ficlet: A short story, generally between 100-500 words. Without having plots, ficlets simply describe a single thing. Example: A setting, what someone is thinking, someone's reaction to an event, etc. +One Shot: A short story with a plot, generally between 1,000-15,000 words. One Shots, while having plots, usually have limited events because they are not meant to be held for more than one chapter. News: The Four Creators have just graduated from high school and are vacationing and making preparations for college over the summer, so new challenges may be few and far between.
