emolder - or, The Cult of OMFGIMNOT2OLD4EMOKTHNXBAI - came about after discussions on the Fall Out Boy website between fans in their twenties who found themselves horribly out numbered in the fandom by teens and pre-pubescents.The idea of the cultmunity is to create a place where 'grown-up' emokids and fans of the Fueled By Ramen-centric scene and its associated groups can socialise with fans at least old enough to drive, if not - and it's a crazy concept, we know - buy a beer.
Only those over the age of 18 (or in exceptional circumstances, mature fans rapidly approaching that age) will be allowed to join, so please make sure your age is listed in your profile, or contact the mods to tell us about yourself before you sign up. Applications won't be approved until we know (or at least believe) you're an adult.
The content of this community is not in any way intended to be inappropriate for younger eyes, but a haven for older fans is much needed. Welcome to the gang.
