This community was started for students & alumni of the Interschool AAIS/IVY League Private Schools who know the truth about Spence drop-out Emmy Rossum: not only is she not very talented, but she is a snobby, lying, bullying, pompous strumpet.
Some of us have met her. Some of us were in the Met with her. Some of us have been harassed by her. Some of us have heard horror stories from friends who were unfortunate enough to attend Spence with her.
As for the members of the community, we're tired of being called jealous just because we know the cold hard truth about Emmy Rossum. We're tired of being accused of wanting to be her, when half the reason we criticize her is the fact that we have real training in what she claims to be talented in -- singing and acting. Some of us even have our own IMDB pages, just like Ms. Rossum. So we don't need the publicity of going around bashing her; this community exists so that we can discuss her PR-perpetuated facade amongst those who see through it.
So are we jealous of Emmy? No! Are we annoyed that some 13 year old girls & fake accounts created by her talent agency people think that she's a sweet and innocent doe-eyed talent? Yes.
While the community was created for those in the NYC private school system, it's no longer limited to that circle, and if you want to rant about Emmy, you're welcome to join in.
