AboutThis community is for students who were accepted into the Emerson College class of 2009.
Hopefully, this community will develop into a place for the Freshman class to "meet" and get to know each other. If you have general questions about the colege, please visit the official website. Rules of the Community:
- Be courteous. If someone says something you don't like, be nice about it. No flaming is needed here. If you feel that there is a serious issue with what someone is posting, get at me (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

Tips for Freshman:
- Banking: Do research. Here are some helpful suggestions.
- Cell Phone Service: Once again, do research on the cost/minutes per month, Etc. This link and this one may help.
- Dorms: This link contains general information about each Emerson dorm. Pretty helpful. This link has some pretty good tips, including what to bring, what's allowed in the dorms, Etc.
- General Tips: A very helpful list compiled by current Emerson students.
- Boston: boston.com andb0st0n are both extremely helpful. beantownkids is a community for college students in Boston. The MBTA's official site will help you learn about public transportation in and around Boston.
