PLOT

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high. There's been more than a simple change in the weather... There's been a change in geography. Tiny micropockets pepper the roiling landscape, turning Oz into an anomalous hodgepodge of culture and citizenry.

The methodized extermination of Animals and their Rights continues amidst all the chaos. The Wizard, long-time usurper of the Ozian throne, is holed up in his Emerald City palace, passing orders to the outside through his private army, the Gale Force, and his Chief Press Secretary, Madame Morrible. Counterefforts by the Resistance grow increasingly futile, as the general population expands and hiding places fast become scarce.

With such a massive influx of people, it's only a matter of time before the Wizard's objective widens to include the eradication of all such 'foreign rabble.' Southstairs teems with unfortunate thousands, imprisoned for any variety of petty offenses. Executions are held in the street at the whim of soldiers. It's a struggle to survive and prosper without the aid of a green card... A special certificate issued only to natural-born citizens of the state and the lucky few drafted into Shiz University prior to crisis.

Funny how a small, rectangular piece of plastic can hold so much sway. From the treacherous peaks of the Kells to the swampy mudball that is Quadling Country, they're worth a hundred times their weight in silver. Don't have the coinage? Well, there are more ways than one to skin a Cat.

7. You are expected to keep your characters as in-character as possible. Any drastic change in personality must be extensively compensated for in the realm of character development.
