Very useful reference. I've also recently been sent a skin patch that apparently reverts a lot of the armors back to their original ("cooler") form. I'll see how it turns out.

And then I ran into these twins when making a Blood Elf a few days ago... lets just say things got interesting o.o

"Azeroth is under attack! Horrific creatures are swarming from a suddenly active Dark Portal and have rampaged into the Blasted Lands. Defenders from Nethergarde Keep have scrambled to meet the enemy head-on. However, even with the assistance of reinforcements from the ever-vigilant Argent Dawn, the forces of Azeroth need your help!

Not much is known of the invasion at this early stage, but early reports from the battlefront describe wave after wave of demonic attackers charging from the Dark Portal. It is also reported that Lord Kazzak was seen departing through the Dark Portal. In his stead he has left his minion, Highlord Kruul, to sow fear and confusion among the defenders.

Accompanied by a host of infernals, Kruul has been seen near a number of major cities in Azeroth, along with the following outdoor areas:

- Hinterlands
- Eastern Plaguelands
- Winterspring
- Stranglethorn Vale
- Azshara
- Silithus
- Searing Gorge

Not even the elite forces of the Argent Dawn have dared attack Kruul directly. Only a large and well-coordinated group of adventurers might stand a chance of defeating him. "

The Burning Crusade

Several years have passed since the Burning Legion's defeat at the Battle of Mount Hyjal - and the races of Azeroth have continued to rebuild their once shattered kingdoms. With renewed strength, the heroes of the Horde and Alliance have begun to explore the broken lands beyond the Dark Portal. What dangers or rewards await mortal champions in Draenor? And what will the Alliance and Horde do when they discover that the demons they thought vanquished have returned to renew their terrible Burning Crusade?

General

- A stirring of events has begun throughout Azeroth and rumor points to the Dark Portal as its source.
- Mazk Snipeshot in Booty Bay now sells bullets.
- The Auction House now sorts by buyout price first, then by current price. This should filter all of the items with outlandish buyout prices to the bottom of the list.
- Players will now need to be level 58 to pass through the Dark Portal. (The Burning Crusade Expansion must be installed.)
- Collector Edition pets are now blue items and a confirmation dialogue will appear to prevent accidental deletion.
- Pets will no longer attack targets that are under the influence of crowd control (sheep, banish, etc.).
- The title "Scarab Lord" can now be chosen in game for select players.

Greetings fellow < race >! These are dark times that lie ahead.

I am sure you are aware of the ever luring threat of the Burning Legion that has befallen our world, < name >. In order to fight against the Burning Legion and other enemies, the Dark Portal will be opened and we will travel through it! However you have to be strong enough.

Two new races will be joining our fight against the Burning Legion, < name >. Blood Elves and the Draenei. I want you to prepare the best you can to aid these new commerades - whatever your faction is. Once you've done the following return to me and you'll recieve a special treat!

- Gather Health/Mana Suppliers 0/1
- Have a stash of at least 50copper to send
- Send supplies depending if they are Jewelcrafters
- Have a Guild to join

In other words, get ready to start up the new characters everyone, if you're making one! My bank character is Simaril for jewelcrafting on Moonrunner for the Alliance. My Horde nooblet is preparing money, linen, food, and potions from drops and quests.

We can show Illidan that we're prepared cause he's a fuggin emo elf-demon-thang :p

World of Warcraft servers will be down from 1am-1pm December 5th. The reason for this is patch contect. So everyone this looks like the last patch we get to bridge WoW to the Burning Crusade! WOOT! Not that it is PST time as well.

I'm working during 1/2 the down time so it'll be up when I get home. Muaha 8D.

Blizzard also updated the Burning Crusade site with new screenshots from the beta version: here. Quel'Thalas is simply beautiful!

OHMYGOD. Yo.

Well this week was sure interesting in Azeroth. Not only did dba_mag get his Warlock up to level 36, but his Druid also hit level 20 and has the wonderful cat form. nytyngayl was able to buy WoW, install, get patches, and start a Night Elf Hunter with us on Moonrunner. And I was able to level Aeglos from 44 to 46, but she'll be hitting 47 soon. The crazy ZF runs!

Earlier this week I decided to take hinoryu and dba_mag's characters (Baumel and Jammalade) to a new level 30-40sh zone other than Stranglethrone Vale. Hinoryu backed out on account of "long boring run", however Keen and I went anyways. It took a bit, but when we finally got to Desolace we were amazed. The area looks like it had a nuke dropped on it four times over in some parts (keen witingly remarked that this would be the Burning Legion Nuk). I was able to cap some pictures from the Alliance strong fort:





Once Nyty had joined WoW we all decided to trek over and meet with her character. After sneaking up in cat form and "scaring" Hinoryu, we rushed over to Dolaanar. Now, a funny thing happened. Hinoryu attempted to explain how the Druid class was "broken". And as further proof to diss the nature that we Druids love, he attempted to kill a deer. Let's just say, this deer gave him the big F word:

In other words: The deer was a glitch where it said it died, but the deer was still standing there working. You gotta love those glitches.

All of us are part of the Moonrunner guild. It's a small guild containing mains, alts, and personally known friends. The point? Help each other reach lvl 60 (current top level) to hit the good stuff. We also play on the alternate/main server of Lightbringer.

Q: Would you say your characters have a personality?
hobbit_hunter: Deffiantly. Aeglos (Druid) helps everyone out from money to leveling to doing quests. Beruthiel (Priest) is more of a bitch really, she's mean and wants to get it done - and to hell with rezing if you die stupidly. Eiale (Hunter) is more of a loner solo type of person.
hinoryu Baumel (Mage) is sort of lazy and loves explosions, and gets his ass beat a lot. Mithu (Shaman) doesn't really.
dba_mag: Jammalade (Warlock) is sort of a party girl - outgoing and is a goofball with swords. Risann (Mage) is rather protective and defensive against the Priests. Starcast (Druid) enjoys being in animal form more than normal and is a trickster/adventurer. Lifewing (Priest) is generally a "I OWN AND HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL!" type of person.
