» A ton of people requested me to reupload my 300 mood theme, so here it is!! I know people also want my Wicked mood theme uploaded. I actually might redo that theme (if I have time) b/c when I made it, I was crappy lol. I'm planning to make other mood themes too. Just need to find time.

Can I join & friend your journal?
Yes! I encourage joining. All posts are Members Only and are only open for public eyes for three days. Once the third day has passed, the entry is member locked. If you just friend elliptica, you will not be able to access the past entries. Please take note that you must be a member of elliptica to see all of the work. I also will post member only posts without ever letting them go pubic. This includes requests, updates, etc. You can join HERE.

Do you require credit for all your work?
Yes, this is a MUST. Make sure to credit @ elliptica or atfivefifteen @ elliptica in the keywords of the user icon uploading area; depending on which maker made the icon. The image below shows proper crediting for us both. And when it comes to large headers and banners, or even wallpapers and layouts, credit in your profile with a link to @ elliptica or atfivefifteen @ elliptica.

Can I edit your icons and graphics?
NO! I FIND THAT THIS HAPPENS, YOU WILL BE SENT TO THE SPECIAL HELL. I put a whole lot of my time into these graphics. It's digital art people. I know you wouldn't like it if someone came up to your painting and threw black paint on it. IF/WHEN I MAKE AND POST BASES, THEN IT'S ALLOWED. Finished icons with or without text; YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EDIT THEM. If you want an icon that has text on it, but you want it textless, just ask me! If I still have the icon saved to take out the text, I'll do it for you.

You state all work is for LiveJournal only, so I can't use it anywhere else?
Pretty much no. I have had a few real detailed questions though, so I am letting this flex just a TINY BIT. The only other sites and places you are allowed to use my work WITH THE PROPER LINKAGE AND CREDIT are as follows:

For the MSN deal, if someone asks where you got the picture of mine from, send them a link to my site. For backgrounds on MSN, makes sure they are NON-SHARABLE!

Web forums. In the signiture of your profile, make sure there's a link to my journal where it says something like "Banner Credit @ Elliptica" or something along those lines, please.

Greatest Journal is somewhat like LJ (of course not as awesome, in my opinion) so the rules for LJ are exactly the same for GJ.

Can I post your work on Xanga, Myspace and Facebook with proper credit?
NO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO, NO

I see my work ANYWHERE on any of those sites, and your ass will get Crucio'd so hard, you wouldn't know what hit you. I am so stern on this. I don't care if you said "ELLIPTICA MADE THESE, NOT ME!!!", JUST DON'T DO IT. Peopole on Xanga seem to give off the vibe of ignorant, immature, jerkfaced 13 year olds. Even if you credited, those idiots will steal them anyway. I've had far too many cases of finding my work on these sites stolen, altered, hotlinked, etc. Do not mess with me when it comes to this rule/faq.

If I see that someone has hotlinked/stolen/altered/etc your work, do you want me to tell you?
OF COURSE! If my work is being tampered with and you're very sure they've broken a rule, PLEASE tell me what you think they've done and send me a link. You can report these problems on this page. You have no idea how happy I will be if you reported that someone took and tampered with my work. These ignorant fools need to be stopped.

Can I put your work up on my fansite?
If you do not ask, NO. If I find my work on a fansite, and I didn't give you permission, you MUST take it down. If you do ask me if you can host some of my work on your fansites, you MUST have these things done:

It's uploaded to your OWN SERVER.
I am credited for the graphics of mine.
There's a link to elliptica that is clearly stated and visable.
A link is sent to me so I can make sure everything is done properly.

How about requests?
Yes, but only when I post about requests. Like I said above, if it's an icon I've already made and you just want a slight change to it, no problem! But you must wait for a Request or Commission post to ask for personalized icons.

Your layout is freakin' awesome! How did you do it?
I preferably LOVE Flexible Squares with a deep passion. I make graphics for my journal first, then I make a color scheme and customize it for my own use. All codes are by me and me only unless otherwise stated. I've decided to open up a sub-journal for just my layouts because I've gotten so many compliments on them. I will not let others use my current layout from here or my personal journal until I make a new one and post it in my community. So what's the community name? Well, if you dare ask, it's wakeimagination. The name's lyrics are from Music Of The Night from Phantom Of The Opera. And it just makes sense for layouts. Wake up your imagination and fly!

Affiliating?
Of course! I'm always excepting new affiliates. Drop off a comment HERE. My list has grown immensely to about 100 affiliates which is more then most people take. I'm going to only now accept icon communities/journals with 100 or more watchers/members. I have taken off inactive journals or journals with an extremely low number of posts or members. Sorry, but I'm trying to keep my affiliates to more that are active with a good amount of members.

May I nominate your icons at award communities?
Sure you can. Please make sure to comment and tell me what icon(s) you'll nominate and in what community(s). Also, if you do, make sure to link me to the post so I can keep tabs.

What programs do you use?
Photodeluxe 2.0 is my main program. It's the simplest PS program out there with only like...five filters. I have very little to work with, but I get by. I have used GIMP for a good amount of things, and when they worked; Photoshop CS 2 and Image Ready CS.

Where did you get the screencaps/pictures for those icons?

Your brushes are in zip format...what do I do with a zip file?
Here is a good tutorial that explains how to unzip files. All my brushes and PS extras are all Image Packs because my program is a very, very, basic Photoshop version. Try having Darken, Lighten, Overlay, Negative, and Colour as your only filters to work with.

I downloaded your brushes, but they are in an Imagepack. How do I use them in my icons?
As I stated above, all I can do are Imagepacks. It's a simple process. It's just like taking a normal picture you're making into an icon. Unzip the ImagePack, then open the brush of choice and move it/copy & paste into the picture base of your icon. Then just set it to whatever you want it's setting to be (ex: lighten, darken, overlay, burn, screen, hard edge) and you are set!

Where can I find your past icons and different fandoms?
Check my Tags page which lists all links to everything I've made in Elliptica. It's the best way to find what you're looking for. Make sure if you want to see past work and you aren't a member, that you do so. All work is members only.

What else do you offer besides icons?
I also make moodthemes, headers, smaller/info banners, FO banners, wallpapers, layouts, etc. I make a good amount of graphics. I also create websites, but those are not for free.

Do you have a personal journal?
Yes I do. My journal's sempiterna. As my journal is here, it's FRIENDS ONLY. I don't want just anyone reading my journal. If you want to get to know me better/we share the same interests/you're curious to how crazy I am, then go and leave a comment in my FO entry. If you don't comment, then I won't friend you back.
