A Message from Ellen

What a week! I'm still getting over the Chris Matthews incident, as I'm now calling it. Did you know that in a lot of countries we would be considered married right now? Thank goodness I had some leftover luck from my Saint Patrick's Day show, or I'd be in a body cast right now. I love Saint Patrick's Day and it was extra special having the pregnant Minnie Driver stop by to help a lucky audience member win a trip to Ireland. My luck continued on Tuesday when I was shooting hoops with 11-year-old sports prodigy Jashaun Agosto. Did you see that shot I made? Is there such a thing as a 50-year-old sports prodigy? A lucky member of my audience scored a trip to Orlando when she won the Puzzle-logue Game, and we were all lucky to see stars like Cheryl Hines, Blair Underwood, Sheryl Crow and Pamela Anderson. I hope Minnie and Sheryl were watching Pam's story of her kid's safety patrols -- just so they know what they are in for. Whoever got picked by that hunky Brit bachelor, Matthew Grant, surely must be one of the luckiest ladies of all! He's one of my favorites and he's got a great attitude about American women.

Next week, we have some of my favorite shows that I think you'll enjoy seeing again. You'll catch former Bachelorette Trista Sutter and future Bachelorette Deanna Pappas, plus an exclusive interview with Christina Aguilera and my new BFF Paris Hilton. Paris, I know you read these messages. Please make me your BFF! I'm sitting here waiting for your call. Thursday and Friday we're back with two brand new fantastic shows! Courteney Cox Arquette will be stopping by, along with rocker nurse and former "American Idol" contestant Amanda Overmyer, Olympian Bode Miller, lifestyle guru Colin Cowie and one of my favorite actors, Ryan Phillippe. Plus, I have a few surprises that you just can't miss!

Enjoy your weekend.

TRISTA SUTTER

You can't miss this show! I'm going to give a lucky member of the audience and a lucky viewer from home something BIG! It's a surprise, so I can't tell you what it is, but I can give you a hint: It's bigger than a breadbox -- unless you have a giant breadbox that can hold several hundred loaves. Plus, you've seen her incredible post-baby body on the cover of Us Weekly, now the former "Bachelorette," TRISTA SUTTER, will join me. We'll talk about marriage (Trista and her husband are the only reality stars who are still together!), motherhood and how she managed to get back into incredible shape so quickly after having a baby. Then, last fall we all saw "The Bachelor" cruelly give her the heave-ho. On Thursday, we'll check back in with the beautiful and charming DEANNA PAPPAS to see how life is going after being jilted. And, another reason you can't miss this show -- I've got a surprise that's gonna freak DeAnna's freak like it's never been freaked before! Plus, the Tribe of Judah choir will grace my show with some rapturous soul.

Tuesday, March 25
CHRISTINA AGUILERA

CHRISTINA AGUILERA will be making an exclusive appearance on my show! We'll talk about her brand new baby, Max, her People magazine cover and her new DVD: "Back To Basics: Live and Down Under." Then, an 8-year-old relationship expert, ALEC GREVEN, will join me. Yeah, you heard me! He's 8, and he is already an expert! Alec wrote a book, "How to Talk to Girls," for a third grade class assignment, and now he's got everyone asking him for advice. If you need some fresh relationship advice, you can't miss this show! Plus, AMY BELASTOCK and DAN POEHLING won't need any relationship advice; they met on a plane and then Dan put up a post on Craigslist's "missed connections" section. Amy saw it, and to make a long story short, Dan just proposed to Amy on Craigslist. We'll talk about this modern romance and their wedding plans. To top it off, the GMC Highway to Ellen road trip crew should be in Roswell, New Mexico. We'll check in with them -- and with any aliens they happen to meet!

Wednesday, March 26
PARIS HILTON

We all saw his spectacular catch in Super Bowl 42. With only 11 minutes left to play, New York Giant DAVID TYREE caught the ball and then used his helmet to keep it from slipping out of his hands. Now it's your turn to catch David in his first talk show appearance since making one of the greatest catches in Super Bowl history! Plus, we'll have a visit from the always charming PARIS HILTON. Paris is in the new film, "The Hottie and the Nottie." I'm guessing that she's playing the Hottie. She also has a new line of shoes out. I hope she brings some, and I hope she's designed some sneakers along with the shoes. And, one of my favorite chefs, HOMARO CANTU will join me. Last time he was on the show, he cooked some food with liquid nitrogen. I don't know what he's cooking this time, but I will be sure to bring my fireproof suit. Whatever he's making, I guarantee it will be spectacular! Then, for the first time on my show, Grammy nominee LUPE FIASCO will stop by. The New York Times said his album was one of the best this year! You'll agree when you hear him rap, "Superstar" from his critically acclaimed hit CD, "The Cool." Speaking of Grammys, some lucky winners in my audience will win a pair of tickets to the show, a makeover at the Grammy style lounge and all the swag that the celebrities get at the Grammy studio! They will be the only non-celebrities to receive these gifts!

Thursday, March 27
RYAN PHILLIPPE

Okay, I'll say it. I love RYAN PHILLIPPE! There, I said it. He is a great guy and a really compelling actor, and it all started when he was back in Delaware. I know, because I have the proof. I'm going to show him (and you) some surprising high school yearbook pictures that I'm sure he forgot all about. Ryan's new movie, "Stop Loss," has been getting rave reviews. We'll discuss his dramatic portrayal of a soldier fighting in Iraq, and Ryan will talk about taking time out from his film career to raise his children. Then, for the first time on my show, I have two experts with a ton of amazing advice that you can't live without... CNBC's SUZE ORMAN will be here with some financial advice that we all need more than ever! She's going to show us all how to save money, and more importantly, how to make money! Then, when you all have lots of extra money, legendary lifestyle expert and event planner to the stars, COLIN COWIE, will show you how to spend it! Colin will talk about his new book, "Colin Cowie Chic: The Guide to Life As It Should Be," and he'll give us some fancy lifestyle pointers. I know that he means business, because he's bringing his own furniture for the demonstration! Colin's tips on hosting houseguests is alone worth the price of the show! Plus, Colin will answer your fantastic questions that you sent in from our website.

Friday, March 28
COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE

The 23-year-old Harley Davidson-riding nurse with as much spunk as she has streaked hair, AMANDA OVERMYER, was the latest contestant to leave "American Idol." Amanda sang "Back in the USSR," and now she's going back to Mulberry, Indiana -- but first she's stopping by my show to talk about her "Idol" experience and to rock her heart out one more time. Plus, one of my favorite friends, COURTENEY COX ARQUETTE will be here to give us the latest dirt on what she's up to -- including what's going on with her fantastic FX show, "Dirt." And, Courteney's bringing along "Kinerase," an amazing new skin product for the whole audience to try - as well as some lucky winners at home. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing that it must erase things on your skin that you don't want there. Then, he's won more events than any other American skier in history! He's also one of the hardest-partying Olympians in history; two-time Olympic silver medalist, BODE MILLER will whoosh on by to talk about how less partying has lead to 28 World Cup wins and his being #1 in World Cup standings. And, of course, we'll be talking about the upcoming Olympics.
