about Welcome to sing the body, a community celebrating the connections between tragically unstable Elle Bishop, brought to life by Kristen Bell, and beloved cheerleader Claire Bennet, played by Hayden Panettiere, two fascinating characters from the hit NBC show, Heroes. This will hopefully act as a home to anyone who enjoys exploring the connections between these two gals - friends or enemies, general character studies or femslashy goodness, dark-toned romantic entanglements or happy fluff, ficlet or epic, and even if you see them as as-yet-to-be-revealed family members... The possibilities are endless. |
rules 1. All fic is welcome, as long as it pertains to Elle and Claire in some way - it doesn't have to include them as a ship, or even in a positive light, but there must be some connection or tie presented, even if it's in a vague handwavey kind of way. Fics that deal with the girls with others (e.g. Elle/Peter or Claire/Sylar or anyone else) are allowed as long as, once again, there are Elle and Claire connections included. Along those lines, media is also welcome, whether they be icons or fanart, fanmixes or vids - in this case, however, media can relate to only one of the characters, e.g. Claire icons or an Elle character study vid. I do ask, however, that any images larger than 200x300 are placed behind a cut, and that no more than three or four icons are used as a preview for large icon posts. 2. In the matter of fic-posting, a few quick rules to keep everything running smoothly - please flock all fics rated higher than PG-13; please put all fics behind a cut, so as not to break anyone's flist; please keep real people fic out of this community, because one, I will not be tolerating it, and two, this just isn't the place for that; and last, but certainly not least, please tag all fics and label all accordingly. Title: Rating: Characters: Disclaimer: Spoilers: Warnings: Teaser: 3. Discussion is not just welcomed, but actively encouraged. Have an essay about one of the girls, or how how they interact with their families or each other? Want to meta about their powers or their relationship with their fathers? Just want to fangirl about the latest episode or promos, or squee about the latest spoilers? Go ahead, have a ball. Tabloid-type gossip is not allowed, but fangirling over Kristen and Hayden is allowed, since, yes, they are very much made of win. All I ask is that all spoilers are placed behind a cut and well-labeled, and that all opinions are respected by others. 4. Respect, respect, respect - no flaming or bashing the actresses (Hayden or Kristen) although discussion (e.g. how one of them acted out a particular scene and why it did or didn't work for you) is allowed. More important than that, no bashing or flaming each other - if I see you acting up and attacking other posters, you will be banned. 5. Enjoy yourselves - that's what we're here for, to fangirl with glee, :-) |
