By requesting and accepting membership in this community, you are agreeing to the following:
This community was created to facilitate supportive and respectful communication between the peerages of the East Kingdom. It has a moderated membership. Membership will be limited to peers of the East, be they Royal, Laurel, Knight or Pelican. It is not in any way an official forum of the SCA. All Eastern peers will be welcome. We expect all members of the community to treat with each other as fellow peers. All posts are members locked and conversation in this community should be considered roughly equivalent to a peerage meeting. Content should not be repeated without the express permission of the person who posted it. There will be no discussion of candidates on this list.
You join this community in good faith that your words will remain within the community.
Absolute confidentiality will be maintained. Content will not be shared outside of the community, including other peers who are not members. The people in this community have the right to know who their audience is. In that vein, we ask that you post an introduction post when your membership is approved, and sign your posts once in a while with your SCA name. Open discussion is encouraged as long as things remain civil. If a disagreement occurs, members will agree to disagree, rather than escalate into hurt feelings. Disrespect of the community, its members, and its rules will not be tolerated. Anyone who is perceived by the moderator as having broken this agreement will be removed from the community. This is not negotiable. You will be removed and not be allowed to return.
This intro will be posted in the bio section of the community, and sent out as a reminder to community members on a regular basis.
