Welcome to the LiveJournal home of the Ereshkigal Invitational Celebrity Dead Pool, now in it's fifth year. The deadline for entries has come and gone, and the contest is now closed to new entries.
Over the next several days, your Humble Gamesmaster will be compiling the entries for the 2008 game, as well as verifying the hits and scoring from the 2007 game.
As a reminder to everyone here...we are still going through with the move over to the InsaneJournal site, so if you haven't already done so, please join our InsaneJournal community by going here:

Rather than pull the plug immediately and never see Livejournal again, cross-posting on my part will continue for a few more weeks where feasable; solo hits should not be a problem, however, if two or more entries score a hit on the same celebrity and a bonus prize is involved, then tiebreakers will be resolved on the InsaneJournal site. Everyone is strongly encouraged to create a journal on InsaneJournal---which is free along with 100 user icons---then join our community there.
During the year, when it appears there is a pending death, a side game could be initiated. Only members of this community who have submitted entries for the 2008 dead pool will be elibible to participate in the side games.
