Sorry, the old poll got deleted so I had to make it again! I would appreciate it very much if  people could fill out the survey, i'm trying to learn as much as I can about lolitas, who they are, how they live, and what they believe in (for a project for school).  Thanks again!  ^_^Poll #877356 Lolita questions poll

So I have to repeat myself *g*
you make me realize how much items I really own! I always thought that I have not enough...erm... to be honest- I really don't have enough *lol*
but this fact really makes me scared *g*

I'm sorry! This is what happens when I try to do a cut...Xo(I feel so stupid...gah computers are not my friend!)

Isn't it scary? I know what you mean, you think to yourself... "oh I don't have many items, should get this and that" then you stop to think how much you've spent, and its like... "ummm I could have payed a few months rent with that money!!"

no problem. I also have problems with these damn cuts *lol* it never works, no matter what I try ô_O

I agree *haha*
but well, you can spent so much money as you like, as long as you pay the bills regulary *haha* they've priority :) but the rest is reserved for lolita and food ;D
You cannot get enough of this hobby XD

Thank you for the poll! It's neat :)

No, I didn't realize :*( I didn't think I had much stuff either...then some post (I forgot which one) made me wonder. So I made up a spreadsheet and started going through my receipts and stuff to see what I had and I was really, really surprised.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for your answers. ^__^
I think its kind of cool to see everyones results, how they differ, and how so many are the same.

A spreadsheet? Sounds pretty fun, but also kind of scary.(maybe there are some things better left unkonwn...::laughs::)

Well, it's a "loli" spreadsheet (Well, it's going to be...when I figure out how...I spreadsheet everything because I have trouble seeing "the big picture" sometimes :P...and I like filling things in *blush*) with pretty pictures all over it :)

It's not so scary because I'm not putting down how much I spent XD

How come the majority is in 15-17 agegroup, but also a majority is in college? XD
Also, I get the feeling of overspending from this quiz, what with ticking the >$2000 box ;_;

Majority is 18-20 now, and in college which makes sense. A little while back high school seemed to dominate, I guess we're all growing up, huh? ^_^;;;

Sometimes I wonder how it would be if it stays this way, and all the regulars never leave egl, and we'll be sixty years old and inappropriately dressed in pink frilly get-ups, posting pictures of our rimply faces...It would both be sad and very funny XD

I was thinking about the numbers in that section and maybe I was calculating into an excessive amount of spending..X0
But then I thought about it and made sense in relation to time. If some people have been into lolita for 4 or 4+ years, over that time even if they spend a little every now and then, it can add up to a lot! (um... I guess speaking from personal experience....:__:)

=\ Oh dear. Well, it's okay if you don't want to be just specifically Lolita anymore, just remember that if you still like the IDEA of Lolita there are lots and lots of different ways you can make it personally yours without looking too much like a little girl. Make it your own. :)

Yeah, it's just that. Imo, it has become so manufactured and strict ^^;; I've thought about it and I will keep my lolita clothing for now, it's good to have them lying around ^^

Though I checked the $2000+ box, I don't feel bad. Most of it's stuff that isn't strictly loli. All of my stuff is more versatile. I just have the few items and accessories that are strict and would look stupid with something else. Plus - my family bought most of it for me ^_^

And 60 y/o lolis would be totally funny. What'll be terrible is all of the obituaries that get posted later on -_- <--- morbid loli

haha, They will be in full loli regalia! Maybe they will have a loli-coffin (covered in lace)...?

hehe but anyways.. yeah I think your right in that some loli clothing is very versatile! Shoes for example, or bags don't have to be used in just lolita fashion. ^_^
