With our new mods and new mod rules I decided to revamp this a little:

I remember the dark days before there were mods, and I always want to make the community a better place so that it's never like that again. Age: 21 Style:: lolita: Mostly casual nowadays non-lolita: I've been told I'm a grunge bohemian, but I just liked that photo :P Activity Status: Less active than before, but still around. Especially for emails. Location: Atlanta, GA About: I've been into lolita ever since I was 14 or so and start wearing it more and more until college made lazy again. I make almost all of my own clothing (except for a few cutsews) but now I mostly focus on my lolita art. My lolita drawings/designs can all be found here and I also created a lot of art for my lolita_handbook. But despite all my love of art and clothing design I'm actually a science kid and am majoring in biochemistry. I spend most of my free time studying and squeeze in art projects whenever I can - either that or watch Buffy. I'm a veteran of Ye Olde Dark Days and I accepted mod-ship because I got tired of seeing pink furry leg warmers advertised every other week. The job of the moderator is to:
1. Delete inappropriate posts (posts that break the communities rules or are off topic).
2. Remind people when they break the rules and give them time to change their posts (depending on severity of the infraction).
3. Give out warnings and ban people for inappropriate conduct.
4. Moderate arguments and stop drama from getting out of hand.
5. Handle complaints, questions and feedback about the community and it's members (through email/AIM etc...)
6. Be an active member of the community as much as time will allow it.
7. Encourage discussion and keep the community active by running events/competitions/debates/etc...
8. Be thinking of ways to improve the community and solve problems.

In addition, she can be expected to:
1. Follow all the community rules herself.
2. Be polite and courteous to all members in and out of the community.
3. Be clear with every action she's taking (ex. explaining why a thread is frozen).
4. Work with the mod team and never act alone on big issues.
5. Keep the community aware of any issues that may affect them.
6. Be as active in comment/posting/inspiring discussion as time allows.
7. Not actively participate in any hate/wank/gossip communities.


Anyway, feel free to ask us about ourselves, we're still getting to know each other as well ^_^;; And if any mods want me to change anything just let me know.
