Themes for July
Starting this month, there will be two new community themes each month. There will be a general theme as well as an aesthetic theme. Theme based posts do not need to include both of the themes, and not all community posts have to be on theme. The themes are just to give people inspiration and excuses to post!

The General Theme for July is Closet Showcase!
Show off your lolita wardrobe! You can show us just your clothes, or you can show them in your closet or drawer. If you're the type with a messy room, you could even use this as an excuse to clean up and show us before and afters!

Aesthetic Theme for July is Berries!
It's summer in Japan, North America and Europe, and what is more summery than berries? Show off your berry print clothing or have a berry themed picnic and share the pictures with us! Do you have some adorable berry recipes that could be used for a tea-party? Share them!

On the 28th of March I joined [info]mariko_senpai's group order for Mew's crown ribbon dresses. After a long wait I finally received my dress last week. Mariko has been amazing during the whole ordeal and has done her best given the circumstances and I have already spoken to Mew personally about my displeasure with how long my dress took. In my mind that's all water under the bridge now and I am here to review Mew's Crown Ribbon dress and an Infanta blouse I purchased from Mariko's online store, One Day in Paradise.

The theme for July is berries so I thought I would post this delicious recipe. Its great for the summer and afternoon tea because it is very light and sweet.

Fresh Strawberry Mousse

Ingredients

1 pint strawberries
2 packages (3 ounces each) strawberry flavor gelatin
1/4 cup sugar
1 pint whipping cream

Directions

Crush the strawberries and drain the juice: reserve. Add enough water to the juice to make 1 1/2 cups. Bring the juice to a boil and stir in the gelatin; dissolve and cool. Add the strawberries and sugar. Whip the cream until it stands in soft peaks and fold it into the strawberry mixture. Pour the mixture into a 2-quart ring mold or a 1 1/2-quart souffle dish with a 2-inch collar. Chill several hours or over night.

Hi, Does anyone have detailed photos of this headbow or have this headbow so I can compare mine with yours? I'm not sure but after closer inspection something seems off about it, I want to verify I wasn't sold a fake or something. The reason I am not 100% sure is because all my BTSSB headbows have the usual pink BTSSB label in them; this one has a ribbon sewn in as a label & the stiching looks a bit off to me as well as the actual top gem seems of the BTSSB I received seems different than the one shown in the stock photo that was provided in the sale. The stitching looks like it's been sewn onto a different headband or something or in a different place. The headbow I received is a side bow. This is really bugging me. :(
