Camera Obscura

Camera Obscura are premiering material from their new album at a gig in Edinburgh! On Friday January 13th they are playing Teviot Underground, Edinburgh University. Favourites of the late, great John Peel, Camera Obscura have been making melodic, lyrical indiepop together for almost a decade now. Their first two albums, Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi and Underachievers Please Try Harder were received with the highest critical acclaim and their new record promises more of the same.
Support comes from Glasgow band, Dot to Dot, who are making their debut in Edinburgh, bringing their Orange Juice-esque indiepop to us for the first time.
Doors are at 9pm, it only costs £6/5 on the door and non-students need to bring photo ID. There'll be an indiepop disco on after the bands until 3am as well. All brought to you by the good folks at Edinburgh Indiesoc. Hurrah!
