東のエデン Eden of the East is the newest anime from studio Production I.G. Brought to you by Ghost in the Shell director Kenji Kamiyama and Chika Umino of Honey and Clover fame, Eden of the East is an original work starring a young woman named Saki Morimi. Three months after a terrorist attack on Japan, Saki finds herself on a graduation trip in Washington, D.C., where she encounters some trouble. She is saved by a man named Akira Takizawa who a) has lost his memory, b) has a cell phone with a 8,200,000,000 yen charge, and c) is completely naked. Who is Akira Takizawa? Why does his cell phone have such an outrageous charge? And what happened to his memories? |
