Membership in this community is moderated.
Anyone who seriously uses the terms "ana" and "mia" in their journal will be automatically rejected.
Anyone with an incorrect "diagnosis" will be rejected. If you claim to have an eating disorder, but your symptoms do not fit the DSM-IV definition of the eating disorder you claim to have, you're a snarkee, not a snarker. (And yes, we will post about snarkworthy applicants here.) For your convenience (and so you can't say YOU DIDN'T KNOWWWW), here are the criteria for each disorder: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified.
And, lastly, you should have some evidence of activity in the ED community on LJ. There would really be no point in having you here if you didn't.

Journals with no friends and journals created within the past month will be rejected, unless you email the mod at sly.soprano@gmail.com with a reasonable explanation.

Feel free to email or comment and ask why you were rejected, but we reserve the right to laugh at you and send you on your way.
