Enough whining already about how you binged/blew your fast/whatever. We wanna know what you did right today! This is a group that shares only successes in our daily life with an eating disorder. Did you eat within your limits today? Did you turn down an unhealthy meal? Did you remember to exercise? In recovery and want to share your progress? Tell us about it! If you think you can handle the rules, join today!
Keep in mind, however, that eating disorders are serious business. They are mental disorders that are not to be taken lightly. Therefore, the main crux of this group is about positive reinforcement for those still living with EDs and those in recovery. Keep that in mind while posting. Anything questionable will be removed by the moderator.
* This is an ED-related community. If you are offended by ED's or are in recovery, please leave now.
* This is not the place to "learn how to get" an ED or get "AnA TiPz!!11" If a mod suspects you of such, you will be banned from the community.
* All posts are set to go to "friends only" automatically. Please do not make your posts public.
* No complaining! That's not what this group is about! We're here for positive reinforcement and support. If you have a legitimate complaint, contact me at my email address (trappedinside(at)gmail.com).
* Respect each others' comments and posts. However, please do your best to type actual English. No, we are not sticklers for spelling and grammar, but don't type like a 5-year-old on crack either.
* Make sure you are diagnosed CORRECTLY. If you are unsure as to what kind of ED you have, you can double check here. If you misdiagnosed, you will be corrected, so please don't take offense.
* Please refrain from referring to your ED by any sort of nickname (such as Ana or Mia). Recognize an ED for what it is. It is not your friend, it is not a lifestyle, it is not a mindset.
* All pics must go behind an lj-cut. No exceptions.
* All long posts/rants/surveys must go behind an lj-cut.
* Promos for ED-related communities are allowed. That's all. Nobody cares about how "HOTT" you are, so any promos of that type will be deleted and the poster given a warning.
* Refrain from discussion/pics of illegal substances. The mod will offer a warning if needed.
