AboutEmergency Contraceptive Pills (ECPs) are safe, effective means to protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy up to 72 hours after sex (and in many cases, 120 hours).
This is a community for questions about ECP, news about breakthroughs, ways to be involved in making ECP available to everybody, and general discussion. This is a worldwide community, not limited to the United States.
"As long as condoms break, inclination and opportunity unexpectedly converge, men rape women, diaphragms and cervical caps are dislodged, people are so ambivalent about sex that they need to feel swept away, IUDs are expelled, and pills are lost or forgotten, we will need emergency, postcoital contraception."
