Eclipse Digital is the home of Raven’s Digital Design studio. This is the place where you will find the archive of all my free and paid account styles for Live Journal. The first incarnation of this place was that of a layout rating community, which has since been disbanded. Not because it was not successful, but because rating is not something to which I care to devote my time. I would rather spend my time creating works of digital art. ^_^
Eclipse was founded out of the desire for a new kind of graphics community. If you’re looking for the same elitist, negative, and angsty kind of community, perhaps you should keep looking. This is not that kind of place. This community is for elite and beginner graphic designers alike. Not everyone knows all the tricks of the trade yet, but if they’re here, then that means they want to.
Above all, this is a supportive community where design theory and implementation is concerned. In the end, we all want the same thing: visual beauty that best represents who we feel we are, and as whom we want others to see us. Eclipse supports that idea, and brings others with the same philosophy together.
[+] Unless otherwise stated, you MUST host all of the images yourself on your own server. This is because I would rather not have my server go down because everyone is using my bandwith.
[+] You MAY NOT EVER remove the layout credit information.
[+] You MAY NOT post the codes or images from the layouts you find here anywhere else, or redistribute them in any way without my written permission.
[+] This is NOT a request community. Any request posts will be deleted without question. However, on very RARE occasions, I do make custom layouts for close friends. If I am taking any requests, I will post an announcement at which time you may submit your request.
[+] This is not a override help community. Unless you are someone I know personally, it is unlikely that I will work over your coding with you. There are links to some wonderful help communities in the Resources section.
[+] Please respect the other users in this community. Meanness will NOT be tolerated.
As stated in the rules, this is not a request community. It will only be under very rare occasions that requests will be taken. Please refrain from posting your requests unless an open request post is made. Thank you.
All of the current free and paid account layouts and codes can be found in the memories.
Violations of the rules and philosophies of this community will not be tolerated. No profanity, insulting, racial, sexual, or religious slurs of any kind will be tolerated. Those who cannot follow these very simple and universal rules will be
banned after one warning. The decisions of the mods are final and non negotiable. Art theft will be dealt with in the exact manner. So will bandwith theft.
