Hello all!

soniced_up and I have created a new Christopher Eccleston community, ecclescult. It's a community devoted to the worship of Christopher Eccleston in all his magnificent glory.

Anything having to do with CE is welcome: icons, graphics, fanfic and discussions encompassing the body of his work (or just his body), general squeeage, lusty thoughts, etc.

We are hoping for a very active community and to that end, soniced_up and I are in the process of coming up with various challenges to encourage people to participate in the Chris love.

And just so you have an idea of what you may be getting yourselves into...~~all~~ some discussions / graphics / etc may lean toward the 'adult' in nature (actually, soniced_up and I encourage that as we're both a bit pervy ourselves :D)...so make sure that you're comfortable with that before joining our ranks. Don't worry, we're good people...we only bite when asked nicely. ;)

In conclusion, if you love Chris and want to hang out with people (who may or may not be slightly deranged) who share that love, please do come over to ecclescult and join up. We'd love to have you and we're really hoping to make this a fun and active community.

Hey guys. Don't know if anyone has seen this, but Ain't It Cool News has an article on The Dark is Rising. And it has the first picture of CE in character that I've seen. The article isn't particularly spoilery if you know the general premise of the novel.

Evening all.

It's been a while since I've issued a self challenge, so to remedy that we have all Eccles all the time ;-D
I've got a list of Christopher Eccleston's roles for tv/film.
I'd like ya'll to either pick a screencap that you want iconed(It doesnt have to be from smugmug) or tell me which role and I'll pick the screencap.(You should assume I will be useing the mug's caps unless I have it capped on my harddrive)
I've included a link to each specific smugmug album for each role.
Each role is allowed 3 icon's.
If you want the icon personalized then add that in your comment.
Feel free to ask for as many as you want until the list is completed. (Yes, Im insane;-D)

‘Strumpet’, featuring Christopher Eccleston as a down and out poet with a musical friend who accompanies his words with her music. Soon enough the two are discovered, and their attempts to pursue a record deal take off. Alas, the film does not. There are elements of interest, and the cast play without fault, yet something (most likely apathy) is missing. Your interest is sparked with the rare high points of narrative, but these are too few and far between. Arduous and ultimately disappointing, the film is simply inconvenient to watch.
