RULES!
1. First and foremost, respect other doll owners or at least be civil. No flaming, please, or disciplinary action will be taken as necessary.

2. You don’t have to own a BJD to be interested in them! We more than welcome people who are new to dolls and will try to answer any questions you may have. In fact, some of us are veritable springs of otherwise useless resin-related wisdom. (OOC: This does not include me. XDXD)

3. Do not delete or disable comments on your entries here.

POSTING INFORMATION
1. This community has moderated posting, meaning posts will require a moderator's approval before it can be actually posted to the rest of the community.

2. Please use appropriate tags, based on the content of your entries!

3. Seemingly lenghty or image-heavy heavy posts should be posted under an LJ-cut. When it comes to image posts, you're allowed one preview image. In cases of more mature or adult-themed content, keep it all under the cut and clearly labelled for those that may or may not want to see it. Gratuitously graphic posts and topics seen as inappropriate will be deleted. We welcome members of all ages, but we trust that younger members will use the appropriate discretion regarding adult-themed posts.

4. Do not post something that does not belong to you and claim it as your own. This one is pretty much common sense. Give credit where it is due. Dolls should be considered art forms, and treated as such.

5. Try to stay on topic. This is a BJD-oriented community, but in the tradition of the groups preceding this community, discussions about (Asian) 1/6 customizable figures may be included. This does not include Western-style dolls, Barbies or fashion dolls. Otherwise, more personal entries should either be kept to your own personal journals. (Community members then branch out from here to there!)

EXCEPTION: If the occasion permits, important news immediately relevant to Edmonton and the surrounding area will be considered on topic, along with first introduction to the community posts. Off-topic posts will be deleted.

6. There are a few dolls that are considered “banned” in most doll communities for recasting existing sculpts, etc. If we notice these dolls in posts, chances are we’ll delete them in support of BJD integrity.

7. Please refrain from making transactions via posts in this community. It is okay for you to briefly advertise things that you want to buy/sell, but try to arrange specific details in either a reputable marketplace environment (such as DOA Marketplace) or privately amongst the people involved. We are not at all responsible for any financial dealings or disputes, especially since (for now) this community is semi-public.
