A new RPG, written in Storyboard style, in English with this first part only open to to Sonar, Quickstep, Chakée and SilverSide - the second part and onwards will be open to other characters.

(Just for the record, I'm actually using an RPG account here because I'm lazy. My personal journal is halfling_rogue.)

I'm sure the vast majority of us have bemoaned the execution of Beast Machines. Many of us are just as convinced that it could easily have been done better. Some of us are even convinced that we could have done better.

Want to see if it can be done?

The Reformation is a new RPG set up on LiveJournal. It takes the premise of Beast Machines and rewrites it from the bottom up, allowing for the introduction of characters from G1, Armada, Energon -- you name it -- as well as original characters. Knowledge of Beast Machines is certainly not necessary. Knowledge of Beast Wars, while handy, is also not necessary.

A certain amount of players and important characters (eg. Optimus Primal) are needed before the game can start. Applications are not yet open, but the FAQ and Reserves posts are. The game is still undergoing some very minor tweaking, but for the most part, all the important stuff is up. Those new to LJ-style roleplaying are welcome to contact me at any time, here, in the FAQ, or on AIM.

Here is the back story to my character Sunblazer.

 Well, I tried to post Chapter four in my last post, and got an error message..."Post too large." So, I must put chapters 4, 5, and 6 in this post...sorry.

This one is entirely Sunblazer's point of view, but it;'s important, because Sunblazer realises just how fragile  organic beings are, and it changes everything for her.

WARNING: It gets descriptively gory in here. You have been warned.

UPDATE: These chapters will be going up in late December, when I'll have more Net access and can just copy and paste the address of the chapoters on my ff.net account. Once again, trying to add a chapter, makes the post too large. Doing it this way is just WAY too cumbersome!

Here is the first three parts of the backstory for Sunblazer and Rian.
Sorry for the lack of dialogue in the first two chapters, the next chapters will have more.

TITLE: Two Siblings, Three Choices

CHARACTERS: Concentrates on Rian (oc) and Sunblazer (oc) but also features Optimus Prime, Jazz, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and several unnamed Autobots and Decepticons.

PAIRINGS: None

RATING: PG-13 for violence

SUMMARY: When Rian’s and Sunblazer’s parents are destroyed during early Autobot/Decepticon conflicts, they are driven to choose sides. This is their stories. (character backstory.)

DISCLAIMER: Rian and Sunblazer are mine. Transformers belongs to Hasbro and Dreamworks. I gain no financial gain from this, and do not claim Transformers as mine.

Author’s Notes for Chapter One.

Too many “its” would be confusing. Thus I assign “he” and “she” based on apparent gender due to build, voice, personality ETC of canon characters. I identify both Rian and Sunblazer as female.

Be aware that all this happens several thousand years BEFORE THE MOVIE.  The planet mentioned is NOT Earth, the natives are NOT human. humanOID yes, HUMAN, no.

I have no idea how Transformers used to reproduce, so assume it was “build them and then they are given a Spark.” Of course, once the Allspark is gone, they will have to find another way.

I have run both characters through the Transformers version of the Mary Sue test, They both passed.

The two characters narrate different parts of the story (and sometimes the same part from a different viewpoint.)

AUTHOR’S NOTES FOR CHAPTER TWO-The encounter with Ratchet is based on a piece of information I found on one of the collectible movie cards. It reads:

 

“The Autobot Ratchet is dedicated to saving life, no matter what form it takes, and no matter whose it is. Every Autobot has had his Spark preserved at least once by him, and more than one Decepticon has opened his optical sensors after a mortal blow only to find Autobot Ratchet welding shut the final incision.” Bold=My emphasis

Here is Chapter Three, which has more dialogue between the characters. This is when things get interesting.

So here is another entry to have some details for the character's list ;)
As mentioned before, you can make LJ entries, and I will add a link to that detailed post to the character's list in the first entry here ;)

So here is SilverSide...

So far our only good beasty bot SunShine aka "SuShi", he still needs a bio/history, so this is open for any ideas, (he seems to be the most loved EB character yet, at least concerning the feedback on FA, DA and SA ^__^ ) what a pity that he dies in the last chapter of "Sudden Stranger" ... oooops I didn't say that... concerning SD I am going to put the first chapter up here today or at least tomorrow, so if anybody wants to read... has still a lot mistakes though. (since people just use this journal for sharing, not really watching, it's not going to be set to friend's only this time)... SuShi's simplified mode is almost done as well.

so that's it, going to put more detailed infos concerning the other characters up soon, still thinking if we need them here anyhow, when they are going to be on the website as well.
