Again with the updates taking longer than I expect! I'm going to see if I can fix that for the next issue. Which will be starting monday with however many pages I get finished in the meantime.

Start of the issue!

We've got some new wallpapers here, one of which the more intrepid readers may have already found. Next year I fully expect the webcomics choice awards to have a category for Best Easter Eggs and I predict a smashing win!

Now I go back to inking page 4! Yes, I'm barreling right along!

This update took a bit more time that I thought, but the next couple should be much faster, since during that time I worked way ahead on the next pages. In the meantime, though, 4 new pages! Or click here to start at the beginning of the chapter!

My parents used to own a green Volkswagen Rabbit, and as awful as the car was, with no AC in Georgia, it was still awesome.

I don't know if Andy's parents owned a certain talking car...

I'm thinking about doing a tutorial for how I do these things. I'll be the Bob Ross of webcomics, showing you how to paint happy little clouds and Sammies.

I, along with my lovely artist ocarina, will be doing KeenCAST, the official KeenSPOT podcast, this weekend. We'll be discussing our comic as well as geeky things we like (and possibly having a gollum-off). It won't actually be up until early next week, but as soon as it's up I'll post a link to where you can download it.

The reason I'm posting about it NOW is because they do read questions from peeps. So, if you have a question for me or ocarina, just go over to the forum and post a question, or post it in the comments here and I'll transfer it over to the forums.

i'm going to call this ALMOST complete because I CAN'T GET RID OF THE STUPID GREY!

any ideas?

it's overriding ALL of my styles. and actually, both my speakerwiggin and javiminions journals were fine until about two weeks ago when all of a sudden this SAME GREY popped up . . . maybe it's LJ's fault!

FIXED! LJ added new security that overrides some CSS. basically if it's ignoring a line of your CSS you add !important before the ";"

so

bacground: black;

becomes

background: black !important;

the space between the black and the ! is important....

weird, huh?
