I LOVE EARLY EDITION.
I was so bummed when it got canceled. Seeing Kyle Chandler on "Grey's Anatomy" was great, however brief it was.
Don't any stores sell the DVDs? I've online seen them online.

If anyone knows much about Early Edition and the fandom history, the Early Edition entry on Fan History Wiki could use a bit of work. It is a page that is part of a larger wiki that seeks to document more events that happened in fandom. The the Early Edition entry needs information on influential art, fic, vids. It also needs information on who belonged to the fandom, who were the BNFs, etc. Any help would be much appreciated. :) And if you don't feel you know enough but know others who do, please feel free to pass the link along and encourage others to edit it.

I was browsing a Quantum Leap community and found this one! Glad I did. I really enjoyed Quantum Leap and Early Edition. However I've not watched Early Edition in years. Has it been released on DVD? Or does anyone know if any UK TV channels are airing this series?

Hey everyone :) I can't believe I hadn't thought earlier to see if an EE community existed here in LJ. Now that I have found it, I'm pretty excited.
In any case, some time ago I bought a recordable DVD player and have been taping EE episodes directly on to DVD. Like many of you, I am severly disappointed that no commercial DVD releases are expected for the near future, so maybe at some point soon I will have amassed all 90 episodes and then can make copies.
Looking forward to some interesting EE chats.

Ahhh. :( Well like I posted about last, my favorite episide, the Fatal Edition 2-parter was on a couple of nights ago. Now I'm sad cause it's over, and as of yet I haven't been able to find any possible download of the specific episode(s). Only because I want it for personal reasons, and I hate waiting each time it comes around to airing to watch it.
Nobody would know anywhere I could possibly get it would they? I don't even have a way to record it onto my computer through the TV for when it *does* air again, and I really really want the episode. This is why I curse there not being any DVDs, because then I could have it like that. XD
Of course, those few tv-show download sites require a sign up and fee, which I also don't have. @_@; I just want to watch the episode again and take a couple of screencaps from it. *__*
On that note, if nobody has any leads on where I can get that episode, how about just normal images of Gary and other characters from the show? =o

Fatal Edition part 1 is on PAX right now. *__*;
This is my absolute favorite episode *EVER*, and I'm freaking out with nostalgia and glee. :>
I got so excited that I went to http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/ -- signed up and voted for the show for a DVD release, because omfg it's so good. ;__; You should all do the same! It takes only a few minutes to sign up then you can vote and comment about it, which I totally did talking about how much the fans LOVE the show and how good it was~
Man, I LOVE this episode.

Hey everyone! I only discovered LiveJournal a few weeks ago, but I'm excited mainly because I've once again found Early Edition fans. It is one of my all time favorite shows. I miss it and hope that Kyle Chandler will be in a new show soon, preferably in a role that is as good as the role of Gary Hobson. I think I did read somewhere that he is part of an ensemble for a show that is being proposed for fall, but I don't know if it was picked up. Anybody have any info on that?

hello everyone, i'm a college student with no cable TV. early edition was my favorite show as a kid and i'd really love to watch all four seasons completely. does anybody have the episodes on their computer, or is there any talk about the dvds ever coming out? any help is greatly appreciated.

I tape Early Edition, and I think I'm caught up with watching through Wednesday last week. The last episode I watched was "The Medal." I have one episode left on the tape from last week (not yet watched), and the Pax web site says "Downsized" is the next episode that will be broadcast.
But TV Tome lists two episodes between The Medal and Downsized: "The Wedding" and "Jenny Sloan." Can someone who watched all of last week's episodes just confirm that one of those two was cut? Or did I miss taping one somehow?

In "Dad," which was on Pax Thursday night, Gary's dad kept talking about it his favorite food. In the beginning of the show it sounded like "Noki" but at the end, when we was talking t the girl's father, it sounded like "Yoki." Does anyone know what this is, or how it's supposed to be spelled? I can't get the closed captioning on my tv to work right now (remote control issues) so I couldn't do it that way.
Thanks! Oh, and hi. I'm new and of course, a big fan. My 10 year old daughter and I watch the show together.
