The "Bare-Bones" Pentavalent
~One of the positive results of criticism, even the mindless and vicious kind, is that, if one is in fact coming from a genuine place and has the courage of one's convictions, it can spur clarification of, and even insights into, said convictions.
~Though The Pentavalent is not long at all - the whole thing fits onto a single typed page - it is very dense, both in content and concept. So, I thought, 'let's boil it down a bit'.
~This is the result of my first go round, complete with hyperlinks:
1st Val: "God" is a Feminine Energy.
2nd Val: Magick is a Metaphysical Technology.
3rd Val: Women must entirely reclaim themselves.
4th Val:The Feminine has absolute precedence.
5th Val: These Precepts create our Community.
~Then after mulling those 'bare bones' for a day or so, I thought back to how AA had 'boiled' The Twelve Steps down to six words: "Trust God, Clean House, Help Others". While I say Goddess, those six words are still my primary operational paradigm.
~So I wondered how the same thing could be done with The Pentavalent, and as I said to myself, 'well, AA had decades to figure that out'..it came to me and with such clarity that I cannot take credit for it.

3rd-Reclaiming
4th-Sisterhood
5th-Community
~And it's not just an abridged list of principles, it is a Statement of Purpose and of Action: Goddess Majick Reclaiming Sisterhood Community.
~In the coming years and decades (and centuries, I expect), there will be a flood of words regarding The Temple and its Precepts and we must be careful not to drown in them. The above statement can be a rock to stand upon, a lift-raft to cling to, and a light to guide us.
~And so it is...
