Potato Parade

So our county fair has this category where you can decorate vegetables to depict anything you wish. You can use potatoes, or carrots... Basically any vegetable. One year I did a Romeo and Juliet scene, and another I did a Pirates of the Caribbean-like potato. This year I collaborated with a friend of mine, and we created a Doctor Who and Donna scene.

The Doctor and Donna are potatoes. (I thought about making the Doctor out of celery, as a 5th Doctor reference, but they had to sit in a hot building for a week... It would have looked disgusting by the end...) My friend and I used dried lima beans for the little monsters on the floor. The TARDIS I made out of construction paper and I used a Christmas light for the light on the top. The clothes on the potatoes were a combination of felt and construction paper attached with glue and pins. We used beads and pins for the eyes and yarn for the hair. We gave the Doctor a little rose in his lapel for a small Rose reference. :-)

For some reason it only got second place., the judges were pretty hard this year. :-( BUT we got a special prize from someone else at the fair, so that made us feel better.

So uhm, I've been getting into Doctor Who for a good while now and since I love photoshop I've put the two together to make well..stuff xD! Enjoy, and if it needs clearing up or anything just ask..but basically these are The Doctors past , previous from Ten....Also in no real order just messin around..Oh Oh! And Jenny! Because she needs more love.

Uhm...yeah As I said these are just some of the banners I've made, and I'm always looking for more caps/ eps to dl from which to make more banners. I'd make wallpapers at some point as well xD. If anyone's got questions and or just wants to see more stuff lemme know ^__^;;

Okay, so I made an Ood necklace awhile ago out of polymer clay...and I decided to make another one. I didn't think I could do it again since its all completely by hand... there are no molds, stencils, or machines, just my hands, a couple tools, and a paint brush... it was very difficult the first time, but I think he came out quite well. :)

Thought I'd share. Ten/Rose = love! :D

It's 1024x768, as that's the resolution I have and I hate to work any bigger than that. So sorry guys :(

I hope this is allowed. I made my very favourite alien from Doctor Who, the Ood, out of polymer clay. I usually work in 3d because I like to make my artwork wearable… like this, which is a necklace. It’s Oodie-licious!
