OK, OK, lemme 'splain: I had an essay due today for my Shakespeare's Tragedies course. True to form, I didn't start it when I should and only really got down to putting words to paper last night. And when I attempted to write the stupid essay I physically, mentally, emotionally could *not* write it. I couldn't! It was painful. So I spent most of the afternoon and late into the evening being immensely distraught over what to do with it. Just a simple character analysis, right? Just Enobarbus, you say? Bloody heck it was. Bloody. Heck.

I had a pick-me-up in the actual class, though. Got back my test from last week and managed a 98. Huzzah! Full credit on everything but the last essay bit, and there were only two points taken off because... I mean, it wasn't perfect. She didn't say that anything was wrong with it, and actually seemed to like it. I get a kick out of the test-essay because it's my first attempt at--I kid you not--Shakespeare fan-fic. Who knew it could be so amusing?

Curious? Well then, for all you dorky English types.

And before I conclude, I think that I owe another, full-hearted apology to Tonks, who had to endure my bitchiness (I know, I know, "language," but it's the only word that suits the mood I was in this afternoon) throughout Linguistics. That class put me over the edge today, but I shouldn't have taken it out on you and Matt. Thanks for your help on the class exercises!

I never watched The Amazing Race until last year when Kynt and Vyxsin were on the show.
Reality TV is just not something that interests me.
Having said that I will admit I saw an ad with Kynt and Vyxsin and had to watch.
I knew I had met them somewhere I just could not recall where.

Anyways, I was thinking about AL again and the fact that she always goes home to Alnilam and spends a lot of time there before leaving again. I know I've said that Alnilam is time-synched with Earth, but there's a slight continuity problem here since there's this chance AL would cross her own timeline by doing this yet whenever she winds up on Alnilam, she never meets herself.

I propose that AL's time travel power makes it impossible for her to cross her own timeline. Well, she can't but she can. She can't wind up in the same area; the closest she'll get is the next town. An actual time capsule (the TARDIS, DeLorean, w/e) would be needed for her to wind up in the same area. Here's what I mean and let's use the area I live in now as an example:

The base and the housing I live in are technically in Jacksonville but they have their own zip codes (several in the case of Lejeune itself). Let's say AL spends 2006-2009 here, then she goes to Alnilam and, for whatever reason, needs to go back to NC in 2007. She won't wind up in Jacksonville, Midway Park or Camp Lejeune because she's already been there. She'll wind up in, like, Richlands or whatever the next town over is. Now, she could find other transportation if need be in order to get to J-Ville or wherever but that's the only way she can cross her own timeline.

Also, AL's the only one on Alnilam to use a calendar anyway. The unicorns don't care what day it is. They naturally know when it's their birthday and all they really care about is the weather and whether there'll be food and water and play.

Put it this way...it makes sense in my head.

All I've done so far on this, my day off, is sleep until noon and eat breakfast.

Someone from the oil company may be stopping by to check on the heating oil smell permeating parts of the house, and I would rather not be caught in the middle of downward dog when this person arrives. I exercise in the basement, where the oil apparatuses are. (However, the basement does not smell of oil. Odd happenings here at the S. household.)

Showering after working out is more logical than the alternative.

I suppose my next steps are to get dressed and throw some clothes into the washer, then perhaps tackle some of the cleaning/ organizing/ computerish tasks until the oil fellow arrives.

This is not the dress I picked out. This is just one of the fifty dresses I tried on this past Saturday. My friends Christy, Aleesha, and Nicole came along for support.

I had a specific style in my mind and most of the dresses that I tried on were that style. This was not at all the style I wanted but it was thrown in there by Aleesha for fun. The girls really liked this one but I didn't want a poofy dress not to mention the striping on top bothered me.

Course, the dress I ended up picking wasn't much like the specific style I had in mind except the silhouettes are similar. o_O

Oh wells, I ordered my dress and now I have shoes. Need to get the rest done. o_O AAAHHHH! I'm so glad I have Marty's mom.

Marty got a haircut. I really like it.

Oki got a sailor hat. I really like it.

Oki also went to the groomers. She smells good.

I got more Office stuff, bwahahaha! Don't be deceived though. The 'I Heart Jim' mug is old. I just added it for ambiance. I got the two sticky notepads, the squishy Dwight and the Pam pens. :D The Pam pens have Pam quotes!

This is all from Target's dollar section. They had some of the stuff that they offered last year, and they had a few new things. My favorite new things were the Pam stuff which seemed to replace the Jim stuff.

Marty got the Schrutebuck magnetic board for our fridge at home, these Office goodies are now in my office. :D

All those times Fred told me I wasn't allowed to do my FAFSA because he didn't want me to see how much Mom and he made? And all those times I bothered him to do it because I need those damn loans? As in, on a weekly basis, and then getting yelled at for being a pest?

Yeah, well, I'm rather PISSED at the moment, because apparently bothering him for a few months yielded nothing- I have a tuition bill of 8k that needs paying at the moment, and apparently there is ABSOLUTELY NO RECORD of Fred EVER filling my FAFSA. And since I graduate, Time is VERY short.

...I'm absolutely furious. I'm not allowed to do my shit because of his stupid pride, and yet when I need something like this done, I'm a pain the ass for asking him to do it. I'm done. I'm absolutely fucking done.

I've had to deal with incompetency in the past, but this is just ridiculous.

EDIT: Got ahold of Fred. Apparently he didn't understand me asking loads of times to file my FAFSA meant for "this year". He thought grad school was file once, forget about it.

...if it's filed this week, I have loans. However, I will now have $200 extra because of this happening so late in the semester. XP

Just so you all know, I've been building a new website on a different server to usual, and at some point over the next couple of days, www.tonylee.co.uk will then aim directly at it.

The main reason for this is because this will have a self contained blog - at the moment I use blogger for my posts which confuses a lot of people as all the links are to the website - bar the blog...
