    <content type="html">Ok, let's try this again. The old server for the DustMARE Fork has died, and my best attempts at recovering the files have failed. I need to get a better system for backing up the db regularly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyways. New server is rented (a virtual private server running Ubuntu 7.10), DustMARE recompiled and running. Available at:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;66.103.254.205 4000&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To Do:&lt;br /&gt;* Set up the DNS entries, etc, so it's not just a bare IP.&lt;br /&gt;* &lt;a href="http://community.livejournal.com/dustmaredev/1165.html"&gt;Re-link up path to the Sky Temple&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;* Re-dig and re-desc the &lt;a href="http://community.livejournal.com/dustmaredev/1740.html"&gt;Guildhall Street&lt;/a&gt; section of Kilandra, the Garrison. (I have the descriptions saved from pre-crash, no problem).&lt;br /&gt;* Continue descing the Kilandra Guilds.</content>

    <content type="html">Desced the three (public) rooms of the Kilandra Garrison. I figure the guildmaster (the commander) can go in the office, and the public trainer in the training yard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(Still need to desc and place the trainers and guild master).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Will return to add guild-only rooms (barracks, store, mess hall, etc) after I've desced the other guilds' public areas.</content>

Off that street, there are the following buildings:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Garrison (fighter's guild)&lt;br /&gt;Darkvine Chapel (druids)&lt;br /&gt;Teamsters and Highwaymen Guild (rogues)&lt;br /&gt;Azure Tower (blue mages)&lt;br /&gt;Obsidian Tower (black mages)&lt;br /&gt;Crimson Tower (summoners)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Next up: descing the street and guild buildings.</content>

    <content type="html">I'm going to try to slowly refactor and change the map rather than chop and rebuild (though it's tempting).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(I'm very very tempted to axe the entire Demon Swamp area (which is done in rainbow colors for some reason), and the Monastery by Titan's Claw. And maybe the claw itself. But at the moment, plot points depend on it, so I'll leave it for a little later).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here's what the eastern area of DustMARE looks like at the moment:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.zagidulin.net/images/dust/dust-east-2007-11-08.png"&gt;DustMARE East 2007-11-08&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm going to link up the Sky Temple / Blue Mage Guild area to the world map somewhere off of Southern Blue Overlook / Eiger Mountainside area. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Partial Key:&lt;br /&gt;Dark Gray - town&lt;br /&gt;Orange - shops&lt;br /&gt;Maroon - rooms without descriptions&lt;br /&gt;Yellow - rooms with fireplaces (faster regeneration)&lt;br /&gt;White - secret passages</content>

    <content type="html">Here's the discussed list of guilds to open with.&lt;br /&gt;(The initial chapter houses will be off a town square in the guild town -- currently Kilandra. Each guild also has a main citadel, which members will have to seek out in order to get skills &amp; spells past a certain level).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1) Fighter (or Warrior, pending a better name). Citadel: ? Maybe some sort of keep/fortress, near the site of a great ancient battle?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2) Druid (priest slot, reworked from Rangers). Citadel: ? A black black forest of some sort is needed. An eldritch kind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3) Teamsters and Highwayman Guild (shady assassin/rogue types). Citadel: Something in Keoll, definitely.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4) Black Wizards (for necromancy and black magic). Citadel: ? We need a tall and ruined tower of necromancy. If you ask me, it should be near a ruined wizard city, near the shore of the Dust sea.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;5) Blue Wizards (for sky and lightning and more traditional wizardly magic). Citadel: Sky Temple, on the side of the blue mountains or whatever they're called.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;6) Summoners. Citadel: ? How about near that same volcano, where the Gargoyles will live? Maybe somewhere else? What does a summoner keep put you in mind of?</content>
