| About Dlq A Japanese indies legend, Dué le quartz (vo. Sakito, gu. Miyabi, ba. Kikasa, dr. KAZUKI) lasted from 1998-2002. Despite a seemingly short run, the band amassed a considerable fan base both at home and overseas before their break up. It has become considerably difficult to track any of Dué le quartz's ex-members' activities in recent years--aside from Miyavi, of course. It was with this in mind that I decided to begin this group to share the findings of my extensive research, as well as just give fans a place to gather. The purpose of this community is to provide fans (new and old) with information and media of all sorts in order to keep the spirit of the band alive. Fan creations (fiction, art, etc.), file sharing, scans, translations, goods, information, and more are all accepted and encouraged here. 1. Treat the community and its members with respect. This isn't a place to get into an argument over anything. 2. This is a community for all things Dué le quartz, but I ask that information/sale posts/etc. regarding Miyavi be kept to a minimum. If you want to sell his latest CD, there are other places to do that. Granted, he was still a part of the band, so this is a somewhat lenient rule, but if I see 20 posts in a row selling Miyavi CDs we might have to change this. Just use your best judgment. 3. ALL posts in this community must be friends locked. 4. No multiple posts, especially with "for sale" posts. If you feel the need to repost something, please wait a week from the previous post. 5. All fan fiction, videos, images, sale advertisements, etc. must be placed behind an LJ-cut. If anything is considered not safe for work (or parents) it must be marked as such outside of the LJ-cut. 6. Out of courtesy, when making an informational post please check the reliability of your information and sources. Linking your sources is appreciated but not required. Icons→ Three preview icons or an icon banner may be posted outside of the LJ-cut. Dué le quartz and related bands' icons ONLY. If you have a batch with 2 DlQ icons and 40 Dir en grey icons, this isn't the place to post it. Be courteous and understand that that's not what people are here for. Fan Fiction→ Headers are required; the only information you need to post outside of your LJ-cut is a rating (and explanation of the rating) and credit to the author if you are not the one that wrote it. The ENTIRE fic must be behind a cut, though a short preview is allowed to appear outside. Any and all subject matter is acceptable so long as members of Dué le quartz are at the focus of the piece. Fan Art→ Heed the NSFW rule and provide a brief description of the piece outside the LJ-cut. Translations/romanizations/transcriptions→ Only allowed if you are the one who spent the time writing them. Do not link to others' work. Fan Videos→ Videos should be embedded beneath an LJ-cut, not simply linked to. If you did not create the video, please let us know who did. Scans/Gallery Contributions→ Do not tag/watermark any images you post. I am aware that it can be hard to find images of the band without existing watermarks, but please avoid posting these if there are clean versions available. 7. The moderator has the right to remove anyone from the community for violating any rules, but will do her best to provide an explanation of removal if she deems fit.
