| Rules |
All posts are moderated and thus, very little gets by the moderators. But just to make life simpler for everyone, here are a few basic guidelines that we ask our members to follow:
1. Be respectful to other members. It sounds so simple, but sometimes people get carried away when expressing differing opinions. A healthy debate is fine, but once it turns into personal attacks, then there is a problem.
2. Be respectful to David. This might seem like a strange rule because you would expect fans to be the MOST respectful. You're more than welcome to disagree with his career choices or an opinion that he has expressed. Again, just use common sense and don't turn it into a personal attack. At the end of the day, he's a human being, too, and deserves just as much respect as the next guy. I'm also extending this rule to David's family, friends, and people he has worked with. I don't care if you think Gillian Anderson is the devil. It won't be tolerated here. Also please try not to post articles or photographs that are basically just gossip or are somehow invasive to David. He probably won't ever read the things that you'll post in this community, but when in doubt, pretend that he will and see if you're still confident about posting it. ;)
3. LJ-Cuts are your friend. Posting a spoiler? Put it behind a cut (preferably with a warning). Posting large photos? Put them behind a cut. Posting lots of icons? Preview a few of them and put the rest behind a cut. Don't know how to do an LJ-cut? Please see this page of the LiveJournal FAQ.
4. DO NOT POST SPAM! That's not fun for anyone and is the quickest way to be banned.
5. Uncertain about something? Feel the need to report an issue with the community?
