papilio_luna made history by starting a sexy-off in a thread on fid_gin's journal. editrx decreed it a fabulous idea, and hosted the first Friday Night gathering on HER journal. Since then, an assorted group of (until now) unorganized fangirls have been meeting on various LiveJournals to share pictures of David Tennant and to squee over our favorite Doctor.
When the gatherings became larger, and the circle of fangirls expanded, it became clear that in order for everyone to participate and enjoy themselves more efficiently, it would be best to start a gathering place. Hence, we arrived at![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
