My Wiimote is not working.

I turned it on pointed it at the Wii Sports to play a game of tennis. Set it up and went to play, but when I tried to serve, it didn't respond. It's been doing this suddenly. The pointer works, but I can't do any action. Went thorugh the manuels a bunch of times, sent Nintendo an email with no reply so far, and went on the website and tried everything. Help, please!

may seem generic but I would contact nintendo via email or go to their technical forums through this link here

I know this is probably pointing out the obvious but whenever I've had remote issues it's been because the batteries need changing. Could it be that?

I don't think that's it as the batteries are charged, but what the heck. People have said that the batteries could be messed up even though they are charged all the way so good point. Thanks.

I hope it worked and it was just something as simple as the batteries.
