you know i just found this community and happy dance in progress.. cuz i LOVE me the "process" of it all, & drum carding is right up there with the best of "in the making" processes to enjoy ..so. thanks for getting my carder pix outta the dusty closet! i knew i wasn't the only spinster who enjoys a good carder shot! i gotta go dig me some out for ya |

I just got one used but I think the drums need to be closer together.....I don' t know how to do this, or if I can do this with this one.. There seems to bee too much space between the drums and the fiber isn't transfering well onto the big drum....someone please point me in the right direction! |

I just got the Louet Drum carder - the 19' and thus far I really like it. So, I was inspired to start this community to see what other people are doing. Hopefully we can share techniques and learn more about this part of the fiber art process.
