Hey, I'm new here. I'm hoping to meet other fans whether it's here or anywhere else. I've been a fan of drum & bass and ragga jungle for about seven years after a friend of mine played me Trinity's "Gangsta". I'm currently enjoying the sounds of all sorts of neurofunk such as N.Phect, Rawtekk, and Mindscape to name a few. Anyways, I'll be looking forward to posting here more often.

Did anyone go last weekend? This guy: http://www.utopium.net/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=167150 posts really great pictures and I borrowed the picture from his site. If you are or know anyone in this pic I'll take it down. Making fun of people is only funny if they don't know about it :) Anyway, Starscape is in Baltimore and people come from all over. I talk to the most interesting people there. Everyone is so nice and happy and excited.

Evol Intent was great as ever. The MCs were really good. It impresses me a lot when they can rap super fast. I don't know how they do that. Dieselboy was really good. Dara played a fantastic set and I gave him a bear hug. He was really nice. I didn't come to see Photek specifically but his set was amazing and the best of the night, IMO. He has a new superfan. Dylan was terrible. John B was the only DNB obsession I haven't seen yet so I was super excited that he came. He didn't play until 5:30 in the morning and by that time I was super tired and wasn't too impressed with the set so I went home...stopping twice to nap in the back seat of my car on the way home. He didn't play Up All Night or Electrofreak while I was there. He was smiley and bouncy and interacts with the crowd though.

Has anyone noticed that some DJs don't bounce around or look at the crowd - like they are too good to dance to their own music? I like it when DJs dance and smile once in a while.

The trance tent was super as well - I only went up there for a few minutes at a time because I was there for DNB. Uberzone and BT were there.

So I've heard this mix- of rock and d'nb, there was a dude screaming ' if you think they're telling the truth, you're lying!' and there were few beginning notes of pantera's 'walk' and 'fucking hostile'.

Когда Cap под псевдонимом Public Enemy 1 прибыл в Канаду в 97м, он буквально взял штурмом D&B сцену, делая скретчи

доморощенных даб-миксов.
Через два месяца после прибытия в Торонто Cap был удостоен звания DJ месяца журналом «Tribe», который параллельно

занимался релизом миксов Dj Feature, возглавлявшего канадскую танцевальную сцену с востока до запада. Тогда Cap

дебютировал в Филадельфии, штат Пенсильвания, вызвав у пресыщенной пыльными легендами толпы шквал эмоций от

свежих лондонских скретчей.
Он своими руками перевернул североамериканскую D&B сцену с ног на голову, принёс свои правила в игру, которую

другие ди-джеи вели на вертушках. От Канады до Великобритании лучшие ди-джеи снова стали набираться навыков,

ZUL biography:

One of Singapore's longest serving drum 'n' bass posses, Subvert was formed by Chuan and Zul and have been holding parties since 1998. They were among the first to book foreign jocks in the Lion City (Aphrodite in 1999 at Nox) and since then, Subvert have had a hand in bringing in the likes of Friction, Stamina MC, John B, Pendulum, London Elektricity and most recently Logistics and Hospital Records' Chris Goss to these shores.

He has also DJed in London (playing at the acclaimed Hospitality night at the world famous Herbal club in Shoreditch), Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok while playing alongside Aphrodite, Friction, John B, London Elektricity, Logistics, Sonic, Pendulum, Cyantific, Danny Byrd and Teebee.
