Summary: New single from Anna! ♥ "Brave Vibration" has a happy, summer-y (but still Anna and edge-y) feel to it, and I really like the PV; she looks gorgeous in it--certainly suited to a tropical paradise. :Dv "Loser!" is more typically pop-rock/rock in her usual style. Really like it (but already admitted that I like most of Anna's stuff, so... that point is moot. XD). "Sweet Rishi Boy" is a mash-up and.... erm. It's... very Indian? :D;;;; Still trying to decide if I like it or not. It's different, that's for certain, and it might grow on me more with time. On the other hand, though, "Brave Vibration" and "Loser!" are definitely ♥ for me~

Summary: I figured that I could probably upload something while working on math homework and studying for the stupid test~ ♥ Anyway, concerts haven't been uploaded recently, so.... decided that I should up and share KAT-TUN's QUEEN OF PIRATES concert DVD. As I noted above, this concert is subtitled. All together, the concert DVD is about 1.53 GB, hence why I had to split the video into so many files. :P And I know that I'm being completely biased, but... anything with Jin in it is worth downloading~ *chews on his head* And, hey! You get to see his improved English! XD No more 'car shrimp' for the Bakanishi. :D (...though, of course, he seems particularly proficient in the curse words. *facepalms*)

So Adam Young is the guy behind Owl City--one of the rising bands that are unsigned. He does everything himself. And he's really good. His music is a little bit semi-acoustic synthpop (for those who liked what I upped from Ministry of Magic, they have similar styles--I think so, anyway). It's a really mellow, really relaxing type of synthpop with adorable lyrics. In some ways, too, he reminds me of a bubblegum pop Darren Hayes. XD; (I don't know why. The similarity is just there for me.) I was able to find examples of all of the songs from this album for you guys to listen to. Definitely, definitely give him a try! ♥

Tarkan's new Turkish language album was released on December 25, 2007, and was comprised almost solely of his own work. Called Metamorfoz, seven of the songs were written by Tarkan, three other songs were collaborations with long-time engineer and producer Çolakoğlu. The album sold over 300,000 copies in the first two weeks of its release. Summary: Waii's a Thai hip hop and R&B artist. She has a style that I've always thought of as "cutesy hip hop" or "girly R&B." It's not as heavy as other hip hop artists; there's a pop and dance edge to it. Out of the album, "Aow Na" is my favorite song. It has a more upbeat and fun rhythm and feeling to it. Summary: First, just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten the rest of the requests (Darren Hayes, HYDE, and wyse); I just have to dig my other two music externals out of their storage bin, which... is buried underneath all of my Asian ball-jointed doll stuff. *facepalms* Anyway, music is coming--just putting up stuff that's easy to get ahold of for right now~ ^^ With that said: I don't talk about AAA all that much, but I do like the band. They have a lot of awesome songs, and the only major complaint that I would have is that the girls tend to get the stereotypical Jpop-y voices a lot of the time (...you know what I'm talking about. XD). Because of that, I really love the boys' singles/songs a lot more. The album, though, is a collection of most/all of their singles--remixed. :D One of the huge, huge things that I reaaaaaaally like about AAA is their remixes. I think that they do an awesome job with them, and it's also interesting to hear a different take on a favorite song.

Summary: ...yes, that's a picture of a blonde girl waving around her bra as Gackt's single cover. *facepalms at him* ♥ Anyway~ Newest single in a series of gifts for his fans. :D I'm still mulling over this single. I might like the upcoming ones more; it's not a bad single, per se, but it's not an instant love like GHOST was for me. "Faraway ~Hoshi ni Negai wo~" has a cutesy, bubblegum-ish feeling to it--which, again, isn't a bad thing. I just love Gackt's heavier, more rock-inclined songs more. XD For this single, I actually like the B-side a lot better than the A. Right when I started listening to "Oblivious ~Kao ni Nai Tenshi~" my head started bobbing along to it. XD It's a pretty song and while Gackt's voice isn't what it used to be, I think that he does the song justice. Summary: KOTOKO's newest single! ♥ I really like this. *O* Totally love the opening, the rhythm, just the overall beat for "Ao-iconoclast." It's not as techno-y as some of her other stuff (for example, "Re-sublimity"), but it's very... I know that this sounds redundant, but it's very pop-y in an upbeat and not annoying way. XD;; I'm really liking the touch of violins and other instruments throughout the song. "PIGEON-the green-ey'd monster-" is a bit harder to describe. It opens with more of an edge; it's a bit sexier and more playful than "Ao-iconoclast." Overall, an excellent single from KOTOKO. ♥

Anyway, as I said up above, I was given a request for wizard rock/wrock, and so I've uploaded some much from my three favorite wrock bands: Oliver Boyd & The Remembralls, Ministry of Magic, and The Parselmouths. I've been anticipating the newest HP movie that's coming out in less than a month (Draaaaaaaaco~~ ♥), and I've been listening to a lot of wrock to get myself excited for it. For HP and wrock, I really do think that TP, MoM, and OB&TR represent some of the best talent in singing, lyrics, and originality. The Parselmouths are very Slytherin in the fact that their songs are tongue-in-cheek with a sarcastic, very prominent edge. The singing (especially compared to other bands) is consistently spot-on in tone; as with most bands, there are some things that the girls could work on, but... that's normal, I think, and TP is still one of my top-ranked wrock bands. For Ministry of Magic... there are not enough words to express just how much I love these guys. I love their personalities, the lyrics, the genre of music that they decided to represent in their music (electro/synthpop! *O*), and they're just.... guh. Awesome. ♥ If you only download one thing from this post, even to just try out and/or humor me, let it be The Triwizard LP. ;_;? And, finally: Oliver Boyd & The Remembralls. Acoustic-y (at times), pop-rock with awesome lyrics and a completely original take for Welcome to Wizard Rock: the LP was designed as a concept album, starting and ending with radio threatre style acting. The main character, Oliver, gets a call during the night from a mysterious person claiming to be a “wizard” who talks of a Dark Lord. Confused, Oliver is told he must inform the other Muggles (Apparently, a wizarding term for a non-magical person?) of the existence of the wizarding world. If that wasn’t weird enough, he’s also told he must calmly spread the word that some bad guy wizard might end up doing some evil stuff that might possibly effect said Muggles. Sound crazy? Oliver thinks so, too… [here] Needless to say: A+ for all of the groups.
