BEST ALBUM OF THE 90's. EVER. (In my humble opinion, of course) But this is definitely the ever wonderful Mariah Carey's best album. The production is slick and flawless, and there's not one track I don't like. :D~ It may be nearly 13 years old, but its music is definitely timeless.

Sorry I have been missing in action for so long. I have just had a super busy Summer, and my internet has also not been appreciating life much at all.... But I figured I better try to get a few things uploaded off of my list, because I feel HORRIBLE for taking so long to do so. Good news is, my Grandfather has been speaking of getting a new ISP so... Pray it is a good one. :D

Ayu's landmark 10th studio album took months to grow on me. At first, I thought it was a huge mess, lacking flow and effort. 5 months later, it is a declaration of loving life and enjoying it to the fullest. While I would re-arrange this album and I wish she had put a couple more ballads on here to flesh this album out more, it's really not all that bad once you listen to it a lot. Plus, I like techno, so that's a plus. The singles for this album were stellar, and I particularly love the album exclusive tracks rollin' and Curtain call.

Sharebee

Please. Enjoy it. :)

Maki Yano is probably one of my favourite Japanese singer-songwriters; it's a shame that she's not very well known on the internet at all. This album (the second album from her discography) contains the very first song I heard from her: 大きな翼 (Ookina Tsubasa), which is ridiculously catchy acoustic pop song. I seriously recommend this girl :).

Hi everyone! I'm sorry that I've been MIA lately. I ended up taking a summer math class and, as most English majors would agree, math is most definitely not my forte. >>;; So I've been preoccupied with that and then getting together my papers for transferring to University of Hawai'i at Manoa. I'm moving in a couple of days, but I figured that I should upload this before then and to also apologize for disappearing. XD;; Anyway, enjoy! ♥

Summary: New single from Anna! ♥ "Brave Vibration" has a happy, summer-y (but still Anna and edge-y) feel to it, and I really like the PV; she looks gorgeous in it--certainly suited to a tropical paradise. :Dv "Loser!" is more typically pop-rock/rock in her usual style. Really like it (but already admitted that I like most of Anna's stuff, so... that point is moot. XD). "Sweet Rishi Boy" is a mash-up and.... erm. It's... very Indian? :D;;;; Still trying to decide if I like it or not. It's different, that's for certain, and it might grow on me more with time. On the other hand, though, "Brave Vibration" and "Loser!" are definitely ♥ for me~

As I noted above, this concert is subtitled. All together, the concert DVD is about 1.53 GB, hence why I had to split the video into so many files. :P And I know that I'm being completely biased, but... anything with Jin in it is worth downloading~ *chews on his head* And, hey! You get to see his improved English! XD No more 'car shrimp' for the Bakanishi. :D (...though, of course, he seems particularly proficient in the curse words. *facepalms*)

Summary: "Anggun Cipta Sasmi (born April 29, 1974, in Jakarta, Indonesia) is a French singer/songwriter with Indonesian heritage. Having already had tremendous success in her homeland Indonesia since she was 12, she decided to pursue an international career and left Indonesia in 1994. After a year in London, she settled in Paris, France and met producer Erick Benzi, who later helped her sign a record deal with Sony Music France and recorded her first French album, Au Nom de la Lune, in 1996. In late 1997, Anggun made a history for being the first Asian artist to break into international music scene by releasing her first international album Snow on the Sahara in Europe, Asia, and America. This album produced her biggest hit to date, "Snow on the Sahara".To date, Anggun has sold approximately 22 million copies of records worldwide and has become the most successful Asian artist outside Asia. Her success has spread throughout Europe, particularly in France. [here]" Last upload from me for this upcoming weekend. Have a math test to study for, so... yeaaaaah. Going to be focusing on that. :| Anyway! Anggun. I love her voice. It's suited for pop, but it's deeper and smokier and akd;kjd;ajkd;lad. I looooove it. ♥ I love the husky tones that she sings with (reminds me of Shakira in some ways, but different since Anggun has different music influences and genres...). I guess the best way to describe her is that she has sass. ;) ♥

Summary: "Kraftwerk ("power plant" or "power station", German pronunciation: [ˈkʁaftvɛɐk]) is an influential electronic music band from Düsseldorf, Germany. The signature Kraftwerk sound combines driving, repetitive rhythms with catchy melodies, mainly following a Western classical style of harmony, with a minimalistic and strictly electronic instrumentation. The group's simplified lyrics are at times sung through a vocoder or generated by computer-speech software. In the early to late 1970s and the early 1980s, Kraftwerk's distinctive sound was revolutionary for its time, and it has had a lasting impact across many genres of modern popular music. [here]" I don't really have much to say except that they're really mellow electronic with minimal vocals--something nice to listen to when you want to relax or just have something as "noise" music running in the background while you do something else. Somewhat ambient.

Music is my muse.

I have trouble sleeping.
These songs are all I have to show for my sleepless nights.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
It means the world to know someone is out there listening.
You have no idea how much I appreciate you.
Thank you."
-- from the Owl City Myspace
So Adam Young is the guy behind Owl City--one of the rising bands that are unsigned. He does everything himself. And he's really good. His music is a little bit semi-acoustic synthpop (for those who liked what I upped from Ministry of Magic, they have similar styles--I think so, anyway). It's a really mellow, really relaxing type of synthpop with adorable lyrics. In some ways, too, he reminds me of a bubblegum pop Darren Hayes. XD; (I don't know why. The similarity is just there for me.) I was able to find examples of all of the songs from this album for you guys to listen to. Definitely, definitely give him a try! ♥

He has released several platinum-selling albums during his career, with an estimated 15 million albums sold.

Tarkan's new Turkish language album was released on December 25, 2007, and was comprised almost solely of his own work. Called Metamorfoz, seven of the songs were written by Tarkan, three other songs were collaborations with long-time engineer and producer Çolakoğlu. The album sold over 300,000 copies in the first two weeks of its release. Tarkan also became the most downloaded artist at TTNetMüzik, a digital music provider where his songs were made legally available in a digital format at the start of January 2008. Out of nearly two million tracks that were purchased after six weeks downloading, nearly 100,000 of those acquired were Tarkan songs, making him the highest grossing single artist at the music portal.

Summary: Two of Gackt's newest singles~ ♥ People are more than welcome to disagree with me, but I really like these two singles. The style reminds me of certain songs from MARS and Kagen no Tsuki. Random Blinking Light
A Conversation With God vs. And Then We Kiss

Summary: One of the other requests that I was given was a random selection of Darren Hayes' songs. I have more random/non-album and non-single mp3s about, so if you want me to upload more, just let me know! ^^ Anyway: Darren Hayes was the main vocalist for Savage Garden when Savage Garden was still around. He's extremely talented and I love him to bits. His voice is gorgeous and his lyrics are really edgy--kinda like 'dark pop,' I've always thought. Darren Hayes is among my top favorites for Western artists, if not actually being number one. Definitely, definitely give him a try. ♥

Summary: Waii's a Thai hip hop and R&B artist. She has a style that I've always thought of as "cutesy hip hop" or "girly R&B." It's not as heavy as other hip hop artists; there's a pop and dance edge to it. Out of the album, "Aow Na" is my favorite song. It has a more upbeat and fun rhythm and feeling to it. Anyway, I just wanted to upload this as something new and fun. ^^

You can have an example of her singing style over here, one of the few/only songs that I could find on YouTube. >>;; She has a really pretty voice and I definitely rec trying her for something new and different--besides that, I also really respect her for the fact that she's helping to keep her musical heritage alive. Summary: First, just wanted to say that I haven't forgotten the rest of the requests (Darren Hayes, HYDE, and wyse); I just have to dig my other two music externals out of their storage bin, which... is buried underneath all of my Asian ball-jointed doll stuff. *facepalms* Anyway, music is coming--just putting up stuff that's easy to get ahold of for right now~ ^^ With that said: I don't talk about AAA all that much, but I do like the band. They have a lot of awesome songs, and the only major complaint that I would have is that the girls tend to get the stereotypical Jpop-y voices a lot of the time (...you know what I'm talking about. XD). Because of that, I really love the boys' singles/songs a lot more. The album, though, is a collection of most/all of their singles--remixed. :D One of the huge, huge things that I reaaaaaaally like about AAA is their remixes. I think that they do an awesome job with them, and it's also interesting to hear a different take on a favorite song.
