Welcome to Driving Music. We're a community for the posting of Supernatural Fan-mixes. If you've ever made that perfect playlist for our boys and wanted to share, this is the place.

We are everyone friendly! Slash, gen, het, Wincest, RPS, you name it, we take it.



- Don't be a jerk. Don't get into fights about Wincest. Don't bemoan someone else's music choices. Peace and love, man.

- Please please please, do not just list the music you like without providing links to it. We want to share in the experience!

- Please cut all images over 200x 200 (thumbnails of covers are very much accepted) and warn for such. If linking to an off-community personal journal, no cut is needed on your personal journal.

- Title of your posting of a fanmix should look like this: subject/pairing/person - title of fanmix. Example: Sam - Songs for Sam. Easy, no?

- Fanmixes should include at least four songs.

- Cover art rocks! We love it! But it's not required. Wondering how big to make it? Here is a great page about CD inserts.

- Please make sure your songs are named correctly. Also, if you have iTunes, you can rename the album of the songs to the title of your fanmix. This is very helpful when importing. You can also add your cover art!

- Try new things! Write a short piece of fanfiction for each song illustrating what you think about when you hear it. Tell us why it's the best Metallicar song ever. Draw pictures! Write poetry!

- The only thing considered spoilerish is the last episode aired up to the following Monday and any following unaired episodes. Please cut anything containing blatant spoilers and warn. Your fellow fans will thank you.

- Commenting is nice, not only to tell the fan-mixer who much you adore them but to let them know how many downloads are happening so they can reupload files or keep a tab on their bandwidth. Remember, unhappy mixers may not mix again.

Last.fm: Downloadable client that takes your favorite artists and recommends new music you should like.
Pandora: In-browser service similar to Last.fm.

stock.xchng: Free stock images.

You Send It: The mother of all free uploading sites.
Sendspace: Another good free uploading site.
Megaupload: Megaupload doesn't always work for all people, but putting one up along with a YSI link is a good way to spread the traffic around.
Photobucket: Upload your cover art!
