I just needed to post here. I love Drew Barrymore, and her roles in alsmot every movies are just amazing. She really is a great actress. I especially love "Never been kissed" and "Music and Lyrics" movies. And... I was wondering. I was looking for some livejournal icons when i found this one:

Could you tell me where did you find that picture? I just love it... but i can't find that pic anywhere i look...

Drew Barrymore Signs Her First Major Beauty Campaign with CoverGirl Cosmetics

Drew Barrymore is ready for her easy, breezy close-up.

The actress, 32, has signed on as the latest celebrity spokesmodel for CoverGirl, joining a roster of famous faces that includes Queen Latifah, Molly Sims, Christie Brinkley and Rihanna.

In addition to appearing in print ads and television commercials for the cosmetics purveyor, Barrymore will also serve as a creative consultant on the campaign, weighing in on the concept, graphics, lighting and photography, as well as details such as her hair and wardrobe.

Her first commercial is scheduled to debut in January 2008.

"I am honored to be associated with a brand that has been at the forefront of their industry for almost fifty years," the actress said in a statement Wednesday.

"To be chosen not only as the newest face of CoverGirl but also as a co-creative director of my first TV commercial is truly amazing."

Esi Eggleston Bracey, vice president and general manager of CoverGirl Cosmetics North America, said the company wanted to take advantage of Barrymore's filmmaking experience in order to do something "new and different for the cosmetics industry."

"We wanted to honor Drew's passions as a filmmaker and are thrilled she is not only lending her beautiful face to CoverGirl but also lending her artistic talents as the co-creative director of the ad campaign."

The venture will mark Barrymore's first major beauty campaign, as well as her initial foray into the commercial realm.

Apart from making her modeling debut, Barrymore will return to the big screen next month in the romantic drama Lucky You, opposite Eric Bana.

The film will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on May 1 and is slated to open nationwide on May 4.

Drew looks much prettier drunk and dancing than as the new Covergirl. Her beauty is natural, she just looks a bit silly here all made up. I'm hoping they do better with her hair and make up in the future, bad job Covergirl!

I'm new, but I've loved Drew since ET (Yes, I was 11, I swear, I adored her then). I'm so glad to have seen her grow up to become such a lovely, down to earth woman.

Hi, everyone ^_^. I selected this as the Drew Barrymore community I wanted to join because it seems to be the most active, and I see that you guys make wonderful icons.

I've been a fan of Drew Barrymore for years. I read her autobiography a while ago and have always enjoyed her movies.

I didn't see anything about it in the rules, and I'm not sure if anyone has done this before, so I thought I would ask about it, first before just spamming you to death with fan fiction (alright, that's an exaggeration: there are three chapters, so far). How does everyone feel about fan art/fiction being posted here? I have some to offer, of the Charlie's Angels variety. Please let me know :D.
