AboutWelcome to The Dresden Files flashfiction community!
We've recently revamped the community, so please read our new rules! Most of the changes are relaxations of previous restrictions.
1. Both TV and book universes are allowed.
2. Fics can be any length at all -- no minimum, no maximum.
3. Two challenges will be posted on the first of each month. The challenges will remain open for the entire month. I will periodically post reminders about the challenges. You're welcome to write for either challenge or for both.
4. There is no limit to how many fics you write for a given challenge or in a given month. If you want to write half a dozen drabbles for the two challenges, go for it!
5. You can interpret the challenge however you like. I'll give suggestions, but if something else moves you, go with it! Creativity is wonderful.
6. Please don't post your fic elsewhere before the challenges are over.
7. When posting your fic:
- Every fic should include a header with, at the very least, the following information: title, 'verse (TV or book), characters/pairings, and warnings. You must warn for mature content, either in a warning or with an appropriate rating.
- Put all fic behind a cut tag! (Not sure how?) Please do this even if you are posting a drabble or even a haiku; it keeps things neater.
- Make a note of any spoilers in your fic. No one likes to be accidentally spoiled!
Everything's fair game -- all ratings, pairings, slash, het, gen, crossovers, you name it! Be creative, and have fun!
Everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to suggest future challenges. Submit your suggestions as comments to any admin post.
