CURRENT CHALLENGE
 
Welcome to Dresden Stills. This is an icontest community based on the Sci Fi Channel's The Dresden Files.
 

  • You must be a member of the community to enter in a challenge

  • All icons must meet LJ standards of 100x100 pixels and not more than 40kb in size

  • This is a stillness icontest community. Absolutely no animated icons.

  • All icons must be original...including cropping. Do not use other people's bases.

  • Please do not enter old icons.

  • Please do not post your icon anywhere until the challenge is over.

  • Please do not ask your friends to vote for you. This is not a popularity contest.

  • Please follow the rules that apply to each individual challenge.
 
 

  • Upload your icon to Photobucket or some place that allows direct linking.

  • Submit icons as a comment to the challenge post only.
 
Use the following format when submitting icons to a challenge
 
Banner = yes/no (Do you want a banner if you win something? If you do not put yes or no a banner will not be made for you.)

  • If you enter an icon in the challenge you must vote. (If for some reason you cannot vote please let me know and I will waive your vote for that challenge. Just let me know.)

  • No voting for yourself and don't ask your friends to vote for you. This is considered cheating.

  • Vote for your favorite three icons in order....1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place.

  • Occasionally I will ask you to vote for an icon in a special category like "most creative" or "Best use of text"

  • Please read the voting instructions carefully for each challenge

  • You do not need to enter an icon to vote.

  • Voting is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of the community to vote.

  • Voting will stay up for 48 hours

About the Community Layout
 

The layout is Flexible Squares and is basically the same simple layout I use for my other icontest communities.
The header and graphics for the user info were made by me. The image of Harry Dresden/Paul Blackthorne is from http://www.scifi.com. The fonts I used are Sell Your Soul and The King & Queen font. Credits for all other brushes and textures, etc. can be found in my resources entry at [info]phlourish_icons
