A few months ago I attempted to sign up to

fanfic100

I hit a few snags, and so in a show of true persistance, I gave up and forgot about it...until now!
No, I haven't signed up, but I have unearthed and dusted off some fics and drabbles I wrote inspired by the prompts, in the day when I was sure the confirmation that my request for the dramacon catergory would be accepted at any moment. I've given up on fanfic100...but here are the fics!

ANOTHER T-Shirt!!!

Last week I posted about Tokyopop's Sandra t-shirt hitting target.
Well this week they announced that they have two NEW t-shirt designs, both of which will be sold at the store Anchor Blue.
Once again, looks like this store is USA only (and mainly on the west coast, at that). Hopefully they'll offer the shirts other places too! Spread the Dramacon love!! <3

T-Shirt features the same image of Sandra, but the design itself is different.

Dramacon T-Shirt!

That's right. Tokyopop announced today that the store Target will be selling several Tokyopop T-Shirts, and one of them features our very own beloved Sandra from Dramacon!

So I was re-reading Dramacon yesterday and today and came across a random thought. What exactly is the relationship between Sandra and Greta? Are they just best friends or something more? o.O I mean they are from the west coast and all...XD

Svet at Expo

I went to the London MCM Expo this Saturday and took my pre-ordered copy of DramaCon ultimate edition down to have it signed.

My picture of Svet isn't as good as the person who posted before me, I'm afraid (great picture Pantheria!).

I was the person who started the queue, and thus the first in the line to get my book signed. (Hehe, yes, I really am obsessed enough to start queueing an hour before she was due to turn up). It was worth the queue. she did a cute little doodle in the front of the book and was really very friendly (though she seemed more than a little nervous!)

I took down a gift for her too. This little fimo Matt doll earned me a hug from Svetlana :)

The guy from TokyoPop who supervised the signing was explaining that they hadn't expected so many people, and that they'd nearly sold out of books! (and they still had another signing the next day :O) They'd had to put in an emergancy order of books before hand, and still they were selling out. Svetlana's just too popular for them to handle!

Hi all. I just joined & thought I'd share a pic of me & Svetlana at the recent London Expo. I just finished reading Dramacon (Ultimate Edition book/Highly recommended!) & I absolutely love the story. I am thinking of doing a Dramacon Cosplay at some point & was curious to see other peoples attempts for inspiration. So if you have any pics please share. Yatta!!! =^.^=

Dramacon - Ultimate Edition

Guess what arrived today? My pre-ordered Dramacon - Ultimate Edition book!
O.M.G.
Amaaaaaaazing! It's a hardcover, bigger in size (the pages are bigger than more manga) collection of all three volumes of Dramacon. With some gorgeous extra color artwork to start it off.
The best part? At the end, she has a short story called "The First Date." (Her sister posted a few preview shots of it over here. It takes place right after volume three. And it's EXACTLY what I've been waiting for! For those of you who had read it- the page where it has the line "No second thoughts here." is one of my favorites from the entire Dramacon adventure. So worth the wait, as agonizing as it was. <3 So so sweet and wonderful. <3 <3 <3 <3
If you haven't read it yet, what are you waiting for?! Go buy it! I'll leave you with this exciting bit of news- in the author's note at the end, Svetlana writes "Let's hope there will be more Dramacon books in the future so that we can put him in a dress again for this."
YES PLEASE! Well, wait, not the Matt-in-a-dress thing. But the more Dramacon books part!
I'm greedy and want more cuteness. It's just such a good series- funny, serious, dramatic, emotional, sweet, romantic, and even a bit of action. I adore it. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Svetlana! And I'm looking forward to Nightwish. ^^
