I've been watching Private Practice since the beginning of the show but this year it's really captured my heart. I barely even noticed Charlotte was in the first season and while I liked her in Season 2, this season she's just completely won me over and now I watch for her. I feel like Charlotte is what the Grey's Anatomy writers wanted to do with Erica Hahn; have an unfriendly, seemingly heartless professional unthaw slowly. This most recent episode just made my heart ache for her. She seems like she's such a badass but Kadee Strickland just makes these faces that make me just melt and love her more and more.

I've been a moderate fan of Kylie for a long time. She's never really been big in Canada but when I was 16 "Can't Get You Out of My Head" was literally EVERYWHERE. That combined with all the Hello! magazine imports my grandma would give me every week sort of started me off. I don't really have a memory of Dannii popping up on my radar though she was always kind of there with her weird spelling of her name and her little sister desperation.

Living in England with my bff heartsways really ignited my obsession with Kylie, after she forced me to watch everything Kylie she had recorded.Ignited it enough that I went to see Kylie in her first ever Canadian concert in Toronto two weeks ago. Dannii took a little longer for me to warm up to. I even disliked her up until this season of The X Factor. Suddenly she appeared all cute and funny, with a rocking haircut and tons of slashy, subtexty touches with Cheryl Cole. So I decided to picspam Kylie & Dannii together in all their cuteness.

Alright, the third and final part of my female interaction on Battlestar Galactica picspam. BSG had some serious gender issues, not the least of which was that pretty much every female character died (at least once in the case of Cylons), as well as sexuality and race issues but I loved it anyway. The characters were complex and rarely did what was expected or desired but they always felt terribly relatable. It always offered plenty of chances for women to be heroes and villains, leaders and followers, lovers and killers. And so, my top five girl-on-girl moments, featuring Kara, Kendra, Cain, Sharon, Kat, Laura and Tory.

Because heartsways talks about Arizona or Jessica Capshaw(/Kate Capshaw) every day, I made her a fun little wallpaper. I'm not wild about exactly how it turned out but I do like that it's nice and bright. I usually tend to veer towards the black backgrounds but I thought that this was much happier than my usual stuff.

My new favourite show is Fringe. I've sort of fallen off my old fandoms, with BSG ending and my other shows waning in my heart. However, the season premiere of Fringe has just given me a new show to get excited about every week. I love a mythology and a mystery combined with UST. This one is based on the last episode of Season 1, with the World Trade Center and William Bell. SPOILER FOR SEASON PREMIERE (highlight to read): I also used smoke to be a representation of Olivia's memory when she returns; the gun being pretty obvious - her obsession with her gun for protection, and with Olivia looking forward out of the smoke is the hope that he memory will return. I'm a bit of a nerd, in case you can't tell.
