Songs for the Vidding
The time has come to claim your songs for Dragon*Con. These are the songs people have said they would like to dance to at con. If you plan to vid for con, please have your video finished and uploaded (or mailed to me) by August 1st. If you have any questions, comment here, or email me at countessmary at gmail dot com. Vidders: Here's your chance to claim a song to vid. Your vid will be shown to a wide audience. For those of you who are concerned about corporate issues, your name will or will not be shown depending on how you do the credits in your vid.

Non-vidders: Here's your chance to beg your vidder friends. Email, comment, IM your friends and tell them that you really want to dance to this song or that song.

	Id love to do one of these, but Im at a loss as to what to do. Would I basically be making my own version of a video for it or using a movie to play with the song? 	Basically you're making what we call a fanvid. (Wiki article) You see a LOT of them on Youtube. Things like This or this. If I can't pimp myself in my own post, when can I? ;) There are sites galore out there and a bunch of communities! vidding is a great one and there are some answers in This post about vidding and mistakes commonly made.
