New.
Hello there, I am new to this community, but not to Dragon Magicks. I've been studying them off and on for nearly eleven years now, ever since I was touched by a dragon when my life nearly ended. (There's a story there that if you wish, I will tell later.) I have moved recently and sadly most of my pagan things had to be left behind. My boyfriend is also into Dragon Magick, but I find that touching his things leaves me lightheaded and dizzy, even if he's allowed me to do so. We don't have much space, yet I want to set up an altar if possible. Where would be a good spot to do so in a room that already is bursting near capacity? Yes, my boyfriend does have an altar, but again, I feel weird using his things. Where is a good place to start finding things that one can use? I intend to go to GoodWill tomorrow and gather a few things, but what to get? I already have candles and holders, a beautiful cauldron I found, and my trusty dagger. Any help will be appreciated! Love to you all. |

I just got in to magick in genarl and the one that i find the most interasting is dragon magick and now that i have been reading a little i think i have done all i can with out a teacher and i am one willing to lurn if there is any one willing to teach
O i forgot to intarduce my self my magick name is Altair but every one else calls me Kenneth. I have been in the U.S. Marines for about a year now and just got to my pernament duty station and i desied to find a teacher for dragon magick so i can progres in my studys so if you are in the Norfolk, Virginia area i would realy be gretfull if some one would answer. |

hello!
hey everyone, i'm new to this one. Um i don't acctualy practice dragon magick but i've looked into it, and this community caught my eye becasue i have a dragon guide and i figured that this would be a good place to explore this new field. also it makes me feel less crazy to know that other people have them too! :D |

Question

Could use some advice.
I've been exploring my spirituality for a while. Many of the pagan type systems seemed to connect with me more then others, but I still couldn't quite click with anything till I found out about Dragon Magick. I have mostly just been reading and learning and so haven't really done any rituals or whatnot. A couple times in the past I think I did minor channeling, almost in the form of a simple prayer or something, but a few nights ago I think I did something wrong and I'd like some feedback if anybody has ideas or has had something similar happen. I did the same kind of thing as I had before, though thinking back my mind wasn't as clear, and I was a bit less, I suppose determined. Well, afterward I laid down to go to bed and a few moments after my eyes closed, I could see a dragon's face staring at me. It seemed a bit irritated, and after looking at each other for a long moment my view filled with flames. The rest of the night I was at that point where I'm awake enough to know I'm not "awake", but asleep enough to not be able to move or be really aware of your surroundings. I was treated to several somewhat disturbing images (I cant remember them beyond remembering they weren't fun at this point) and most of the night was just completely unrestful. In the book I've been reading it mentions that dragons can get somewhat irritated with those who are just kind of "playing" with dragon magick, so I am thinking this could have been just a minor warning. Kind of like saying, get in the pool or stay in your chair but quit testing the water. Anyway, hope to hear back soon :) Current Mood:  nervous |

Dragon Magick....
So how many People actually do Dragon magick? Is it Ritual, Ceremonial, Wiccan? DO you have special Dragon only rituals? Do you find that the same Dragons come each time or does it take a while for certain Dragons to get attached to your workings? Or do new ones come each time? Do you see Dragons as sentient individuals or icons for primordial energies? Do you have a mentor or a familiar? Do you have any good Dragon incense recipes that seem to work well? Any calls that seem to work better then others? Do you have anything that you want to share with others? Just want to see something move on this journal..... Current Mood: curious |

Hi... I'm new to the community. My name is Azkanon and i've been distinctly fascinated with dragons for as long as I can remember. Dragon motifs seem to pop up and insert themselves in my life wherever I go. my (astral) familiar is a Dragon, I know that much. Time for renewing old acquaintances
Some friends who are in touch with the dragons talked me into joining LJ so we can quickly share dreams and experiences and not wait for one another to show up on IM of some sort. In trying to learn how LJ works, I fell into this community and decided to join to find what I could. I noticed that there seems to be a long quiet spell and was wondering if this community is just very quiet, was busy through the holiday season, or if it is fading away. I hope it is one of the first two. If you all are not offended by a newcomer poking her nose into the center of the room, I would like to suggest that if you have been too busy of late to talk to your Dragon contact/guide lately, to do so as soon as possible. |
